okay I have to be honest, I get really peeved when people say "this persons a threat so they need to be nominated' like I get it, kind of... If someone is threatening to win the game then it is implied that they are likely popular with the audience.

I get the surface level reasoning of just putting them up for that reason, but isn't it a bit redundant to put someone up when they're likely to be saved anyway? Why risk putting yourself up with them? I just find it funny is all.

The mindset is that the more that person gets put up the more likely it will be that they go

I would get it if people were paying to vote because the more you put them up for eviction, the more you deplete the finances of their fanbase.

But when voting is free, there is no point.

You'd be hoping everyone else is thinking strategically as well, and not seeing you as much of a threat.
