BB 2025 season ratings thread

I don't think most of the casual viewers care as deeply about every little aspect of the show as us die hard fans do, they just wanna watch Big Brother.

Yeah we know that the majority of the general public has very low standards.
To be producing live shows like the one 10 did last night in 2025 is ridiculous.
They need to call the BB1-8 live crew out of retirement. Seems like nobody knows how to do live TV any more. The BTS footage of how evictions were directed back in the day was fascinating. So much going on, but despite a few hiccups at times it was really polished and professional compared to what we're getting now.

Hell, I'd settle for them just buying the Big Brother - Unseen / Uncut / Unreel DVD off of eBay as using that as a starting place with the BTS footage on there.

Next year will be certainly anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. If people want seasons to be 3 month runs again, it would take 3-4 seasons of steady ratings.
2026: 6-8 weeks
2027: could be same as '26, but 8-10 weeks if next year does well
Can't think beyond '27, realistically, as the deal with the network only goes until then.

Last night's ratings courtesy of Mediaspy:
Last night’s nomination episode rated 638,000, the show’s best Monday result this year. The result included the show’s biggest BVOD audience of the season at 158,000. It was number one at 7.30 in 25-54 and 16-39. Number two overall in 25-54 and 16-39.
Last Monday’s consolidated result was 888,000 pushing it to the top entertainment program of prime time.

Great result. Just think how much better the numbers would be if they deliver real BBAU next year. 10 ought to think about that. Hopefully they don't think the good results are because they're doing it right.

Tuesday 25th November ratings:
The Big Brother Hotel welcomed 584,000 viewers on Tuesday. That compared to the previous two Tuesday episodes that had 607,000 and 626,000.
The show continued its run of number ones in its timeslot in both 25-54 and 16-39 at roughly double the nearest competition. Overall the show was number 2 in 25-54 and 16-39.
The previous Tuesday’s consolidated result was 899,000 after 7 days.
10 was the number 2 network in the younger demos yesterday - national and metro.

It wasn’t necessarily “ew” but more genuine unexpected shock. Contextually it made sense considering he’s the man who put HM’s on display like that…
Also despite my perception of him being a much older man he was actually younger than I am now
. Also I wouldn’t say he was uneasy on the eyes either…I follow WorthlessTwink/Tim on IG and I can definitely see where he gets his confidence and there’s definitely an unmistakable resemblance once you connect the two.

Big Brother staying stable AF, had it's best Wednesday ratings yet last night:
Total people: 635k (up 90k from last week) and easily won the main demos in it's timeslot. It was number 1 for the night in 25-54s and 2nd to Love Island in 16-39s.
#1 in its timeslot in 25 to 54s (35.7%) and 16 to 39s (46%)!
Lifts 10’s timeslot 52% vs. same night last year.
The previous week's episode managed to rise to 819k in 7- day consolidated ratings.
If 10 don't give us a proper extended length season next year, then I don't know what they are doing.

I hope next year will be longer because, for me, it takes about three to four weeks to really get involved in the show. If I don't know the housemates it's not the same for me; I end up just watching without the same level of excitement until I start to connect with the people.
