I've posted this reply a few times to a few different people. But again, current BBUK season shows that having political debates on Big Brother does not work. All that happens is the housemates talk at each other until they get frustrated and give up. No one changes their mind. No grand insights are discovered. It just pisses everyone off and it's unpleasant to watch and tanks ratings.

You say you want different views, but as soon as you hear one you disagree with you'll start disliking what you're watching.
 
look as long as it’s not like in 08 and we are told we are meant to love the racist grandma for unknown reasons. Political views don’t necessarily have to define someone’s character and maybe she can still be a nice person idk. This is from someone who is not a trump supporter and has zero tolerance for racism as well.

Maybe she is there for everyone to decry.

If you see that only left wing people behave like this, and not right wing people, then you are right wing.
 
Everyone have a look at a daily mail article about Leon Murray and the reason he was axed. Apparently the cost and wanting to promote himself as BB.
10 wanted someone less known and not to promote themselves. I'm actually happy 10 didn't let Leon get his way. I'm glad they said no to promoting himself, we want a bb that's unknown

I hate homophobes as a gay guy, but to be fair many conservatives (MAGAs included) nowadays seem to be fully supportive or at least accepting of gay people. Even Trump attended a gay wedding.

Homophobes are either the far right neo nazis or the deeply religious right.

Yea no not at all. I like different views thats what makes Bb interesting, I don't want a bunch of the same boring people who agree
 
Look I’m all for differing views to create discussion. But production not revealing that little tid bit about Jane feels dirty to me. We were led to believe we were getting a cool grandma. They obviously wanted her in the house and they obviously want to orchestrate political drama among the housemates. This show is meant to be authentic. I’m kinda pissed. At least UK is up front about it.

Who cares. We don't know anything about any of them. We got no snippets about anyone's real life unfortunately. Plus there are multiple trump supporters in the house

Tbh the current/old voice and Leon are kinda on par. The current one feels more like season 3-6 BB
