Any music outside of the intro and ad break transitions is just stupid. It’s just gimmicky reality editing which needs to stay with Love Island. It isn’t doing them any favours.

I feel like they had enough warning prior to Saturday as well. I was surprised not so much as a Channel 10 branded umbrella. Things must be very lean. Wonder if they have rigged something up over the stage since then.

Maybe they would for next year and then move the stage inside the Convention Centre? Like just theorising but could be a plan. I mean if I was them that's what I would be thinking - low budget this year to test success/appetite and then higher budget with more money to play bigger next year. Idk they should really be putting it on after Masterchef for the best promo engagement on the channel.

Also, does anyone know if they've put a fkn roof on the stage? Shit is overcast af.
