No, Emma had just received 76% merged evict vote, and Rebecca's result of 4% evict was unlucky enough to land in second place. It's just a huge gap between first and second in this case

I didn’t really remember this season at all. I probably did watch it at the time just not as memorable as the last seasons to me personally. Has there been anything interesting found out about the housemates or production learnt from the live chat this weekend. I know there was a re-cap in the last weekends thread similar. Cheers.

Ok I finally caught up and I have to say I actually do appreciate Emma! Not sure I would gravitate towards her IRL but strictly as a viewer I do get it. It was definitely her time to go though and unfortunately Rebecca was collateral damage to fill in the time. And by the end I was finding Rebecca really weird and annoying again, so I give up on forming a consistent opinion on her.

Loving the rewatch of this season!! I’ll always remember being a baby 19 yr old closeted gay when this season aired and was wondering around drunk in Melbourne one night, was on my own, when Kate noticed that I was alone, asked if I was ok and OBVIOUSLY her gaydar would be off the charts and took me with her friends to the Market hotel in South Yarra - my first experience at a gay bar - and had the most profound and wonderful night in my trajectory to being myself. Fond memories of this season especially because of that.
I love Kate!! And LOVE this story! Thanks for sharing.
She had so many hilarious one-liners in the house (“you’re a hungus” and when she pronounced Demet’s name without the silent T with such confidence
).This is such a meagre thing but her reaction in this clip became a “thing” in our household whenever someone would be OTT or dramatic. We’d do a Kate shrug/eye roll “AWWGHH!”:

That’s always the first thing I think of when I think of BB7 Kate. She might be my second favourite first evictee after Andy now that I think about it. Not that i particularly liked her but I can appreciate what she brought to the show.
