TEN should really just focus on treating the show with the same respect they did back in the 2000s. Nothing crazy really needs to be done to the show, in defence of the later seasons on TEN I don't think the decline of the show had much to do with production faults as much as much it did due to circumstantial reasons. If they cast a diverse range of people and deliver us a show that rings true to what Aussies know and love about BB then the viewers of any age group will find themselves watching the show.
The general daily shows and live eviction episodes will appeal to any age range really. Family friendly elements could be beneficial to the show but not when they are the driving force of how the show is produced. If TEN really wants this to succeed then they need to do what NINE didn't and that is utilise all platforms, especially online engagment. Love Island does extremely well with younger BVOD viewers. If it's accessible online then there isn't too much else that needs to be done to appeal to younger people. Reality TV in general already does well in Australian broadcasting.
BB2025 will have a decent advantage being on 6 days a week, no other RTV show is on more than 4 nights a week anymore. But the advantage may take a while to actually have an impact. I don't think it should be expected to pull numbers close to the Block. If it can pull the same numbers as Australian Survivor, then we can hopefully see BB become the show that really does define Channel 10. If they seriously take the same approach they have with Australian Survivor, then things will fall into place on their own.
