Masterchef 2024

Team, we have five minutes left !
That means, trip to the fridge for me!
😃
I'm not working tomorrow, so, let's go for it!
Terrible attitude, but bugger it!
I'm sure everyone who reads this thread think we drink all the time when in fact we're teetotalers! 🤣

They’re in Johnstone so about 20 minutes west of Glasgow. A distant cousin came to Australia when she turned 21 back in 2012 and now I’m going over to stay with her!
We have relatives in Paisley which is near there. And Pollock Shields and Miln Gavie which is 20 mins out of Glasgow.

Oh wow not very far at all!

I’m really excited, I loved London when I went last year but I’m super keen to visit the rest of the UK. I’m going to try to sneak in a day trip to wales as well when I fly back to London at the end.

Greece will be fun, I’ll get to touch base with my heritage a bit more. But my favourite city is Amsterdam hands down. I’m so keen to go back. Ugh the anticipation is absolutely Killing me!

I was born in Luton, brought up in Watford and spent a lot of time in London. I'm over it now. Although my sister and niece are still there, since my parents died, I doubt I'll go back.

So you have Greek heritage?
I've not been to Greece.

I've only been to Tassie but I don't think that counts as OS?

I feel similar about Melbourne lol. From the ages of 16-19 I would constantly go into the city with friends. We’d even casually go after school days since I live only a 28 minute train ride from Melbourne CBD. I feel like I’ve done everything there is to do now.

And I spent my early 20s going out drinking in the city and parting too much. I’m about to be 24 and I’m struggling to keep up lol.

Yes, I’m half Greek! Dad’s side of the family comes from a Western Greek island called Zakynthos. I’m also working on applying for Greek citizenship by decent so I can get an EU passport and hopefully soon work in the Netherlands and live there for a bit.
