Ok you’ve got a point that they really are played out…So completely ignoring the last winner then and continuing their Brenchel and Jordeff love in.
The last promo was better and had more variety in terms of past clips. I do think overall the campaign this year seems to be more focused on the shows roots rather than just recycled clips from the past season with an OMG BEST SEASON/BEST SHOW EVER narration, and a summer motif.
I’m doubtful the show will actually reflect that but it’s something. As for not including Taylor while her win was historic her overall story is for all the wrong reasons I can understand why they don’t want to call attention to that controversy.
Yes, very CBS not to draw attention to black woman overcoming the odds. Is she still with the bloke whose name I forget BTW?
Agree it's a better put together promo than usual and using older footage may bring in lapsed fans, but still could at least have acknowledged last year's winner at least. I suspect there are probably other variations though.

It’s really just that one promo that heavily features them… This is just Production/CBS showing how they just LOVE to push showmances every season.I wonder if there's some sort of hidden married couple twist or something this year, given the emphasis on Jordeff/Brenchel/Swayleigh?

Wahoo!
I feel like I'm probably going end up sitting this season out and will maybe drift back to the show in a few years like I usually do.
I only fell back into the show this time around because of wanting something to watch in the midst of the lockdowns and drama of 2020 and now after three seasons (+1 CBB), I feel like the BBUS fatigue might be setting in again. I'll watch the premiere, but if it doesn't completely pull me in and just feels like "same old, same old" - I'll be out.

Are Mr and Mrs Swaggy still together?
Will see how I go with this season - need a bit of escapism at the moment and I've stuck with seasons more than not lately. Will say though the premieres have been poor since they've gone live - really do appreciate they have stuck with the live launch which means immediate live feeds, and those week 1 feeds have proven crucial the last couple of seasons - but they really need to look at the structure. I do think rather than multiple live competitions they should have the premiere play out over two nights with the first night just being the HGs moving in live and then beginning an endurance comp which plays out on feeds and then is resolved the next night, with any major twist revealed to HGs then.

The live premiere is an undeniable low point in the series along with the slow pacing of the first week of episodes. Definitely don’t think a return to the old pre-recorded format is necessary but I do think pre-recording the night before would improve the things without taking away too much from the overall live feed experience.

john might've been the walrus, but paul was a cat
More theme speculation - there’s been an image of the “live feeds offline” placeholder floating around the web that has a bit of a superhero/comic flair. I’m pretty sure BBCan were using the same theme for their ill-fated 2020 edition so I’m not sure how much interior decor style they’d recycle (let’s be real, probably a fair bit knowing prod) - but I could see a comic book / pop art theme to the house with the twist powers being “superpowers” if they wanted to go for that theme

Interesting. Seems like they might actually be taking the anniversary seriously this time around.

If I recall correctly, he was cast on Survivor a few years ago, but dropped out (or was cut) last minute. So CBS has had him in their casting pool for a while.Interesting, they’ve cast Cirie from Survivor’s son Jared.
At first glance, this cast looks like it might be good.

Who'd have thought we'd get to the point where BBUSA is the version we look to in order to do Big Brother properly.
