I'm still pissed off that Grace was booted but the two harpies are still there!Nice Seph and Feb have left the building![]()
I've never had to cook for that number.Declan should have gone for fish not fillet steak...I can cook fillets for six to eight and get it right but cooking individuals for 24-28 is going to be difficult. Having said that...in my younger days I cooked whole fillets for over 50 (wedding party).
I'm VERY old!Harpies!
I haven't heard that for years![]()
I don't believe that.I'm VERY old!
You do or can get out of practice. Every Christmas and Easter I have to cook for hoards for days and days on end...I refer to it as running a hotel...because that's what I imagine it's like.I've never had to cook for that number.
I am fine with the 2 of us, I think I'd struggle for 4 now. It's been too long.
We always entertained. But haven't for years now. Any guests, visitors, we tend to go out.
Yet I love cooking, but for 2!
Because we don't have family here. Christmas and Easter we're on our own.You do or can get out of practice. Every Christmas and Easter I have to cook for hoards for days and days on end...I refer to it as running a hotel...because that's what I imagine it's like.
Haha! I remember seeing a Clockwork Orange at the Drive-In but I honestly don't remember how old I was...Okay Seph, what was the first film you snuck into under age. Underage UK being 18 where I grew up, probably the same here.
Mine was A Clockwork Orange at 16, The Exorsist 17. That'll be a guide line![]()
I like Christmas to ourselves.Because we don't have family here. Christmas and Easter we're on our own.
When my step son was wee, he came to us Boxing Day and we all didn't do Easter.
Fair enough and good onya!I like Christmas to ourselves.
All our friends in The early days went to the RSL Christmas day. I couldn't think of anything worse!
They were people we saw every weekend. All British, and we thought, we don't need to see you Christmas just for lunch and a piss up when we see you every weekend.
To us Christmas was family time, and we were our family, so we made our own tradition. And it's stayed that way.
No one is invited![]()
I remember dive ins!Haha! I remember seeing a Clockwork Orange at the Drive-In but I honestly don't remember how old I was...
