Masterchef 2023 - Series discussion

Not keen on Brent's dish...fish heads and fins or whatever they are don't do it for me.

Rue's dish...might be ok but I can't be bothered with ribs...too messy imo.

Hate to say this...but Rhiannon's dish appeals to me the most.

I missed Brent and Rihannons dishes, but not to worry, Rue won any way. What a disatrous evening!

Well done Rue, that'll be her main prize out of Masterchef, she won't actually win the show but she can probably make a fair amount of money if her barbecue sauce sells well.
Riannon to me is nearly as irritating as Cat - actually Cat tonight up on the gantry got more screen time than all the other contestants combined - the producers obviously love her.
 
Andy dressed as the Hamburglar again.
I wish he'd do something about his posture - all that rocking back & forth on his feet.

BarbeRue sauce sounds really nice.
I wasn't sold on the ribs and chicken but I think they wanted her sauce to win.

Rhiannon is as irritating as ever but I'd eat all those prawns with that relish.

Brent's fish head and 'wings' taco looked revolting. Two huge rainbow trout and he wasted all the nice fillets.
 
Hey @Meglos I got the bbq buns! Tried microwaving them but had to throw the first attempt out..second attempt was better but hard on the top. Then I decided to steam them and while I do have a steamer (not a bamboo just an ordinary stainless steel one) I decided to use just a pot, strainer and lid. Much better result! They were delicious!

Glad they worked out in the end!
I'm sure they are much better not microwaved.

I don't think I have a hope in hell of getting it here then...not unless it's a big seller in whatever Coles stores sell them!
 
You might have to Google it and get the recipe from the masterchef site and make it yourselves. I might give it a whirl myself
