Masterchef 2023 - Series discussion

So is tonight the night when the contestants actually beat the professional chefs, otherwise this entire week really has been a waste of time.
Didn't Grace win and save her team but not herself? Or am I confused and have it totally wrong? I know Grace won but she still has to face elimination but aren't the others who were on her team safe from elimination?

Oh yum bugs!

I've got to get my sorry arse back to PD or Maggie Is so I can eat bugs every day!

That episode confused me, I thought all along it was set up for Brent to cook the superstar winning dish and save his team from the elimination, but alas, not meant to be!
Sunday night elimination - Brent and Declan can save themselves of course, if they want to.
If only Cath was going next, but I bet it's Roo - she looked way out of her depth tonight.

Yes, it was very stupid,
The rule was clearly set out that the best dish saved the entire team.
But in order to suck up to the professionals they changed the goalposts, so that two really good dishes on one team beat one perfect dish on the other.
So both Grace and Brent have been screwed over by shady rules and bias.

I'm sorry but that's just not fair! I thought Grace's team was safe...and I'm sure they all thought so too! I'm going to watch that ep again...just to see for myself.

eeeek...i used to be able to guess what's going on before I watch the episode, but I'm totes confuzzled haha
Moreton Bay Bugs...delicious seafood! Google them. And there are Balmain Bugs too! But Moreton Bay Bugs are yummier imo.

They were good!
Packet of 4 for $10, I had two and saved two, so that's an affordable occasional lunch.
I didn't expect the bread to be sweet, but it was nice, a bit like how KFC bread rolls are sweet.
I seem to remember that youse guyse like recipes, but could be wrong...just so you see why they are so sweet & yummy
anywhere here's a great one w/video for pork bao as well as the pork itself Cheers
