If by "guestimate" you mean statistically extrapolate the scientifically collected date from a sample size which will give you a result deemed to be 99% accurate for the population then yes, they guestimate.

@Ryan_ You could try TV Tonight. Earliest I could find from a quick search there was from 2007 though: "Ratings for Big Brother last night dropped to a worrying 881,000".

I knew people would get tired of this format quickly. It gets boring when basically every episode follows the same script. And the lack of public interaction really hurts the show IMO.

They have nothing else to replace it with that will rate better. But then again Nine removed BB from Fridays for the last season on their channel and it was pulling similar numbers. I suppose what could save it is that it does well in the younger demos for 7.
