Sam Wood was also a regular guy except Sam was attractive, entertaining and a great Bachelor from the beginning. Sam is probably my favourite Bachelor of all time.

I think it was an entirely calculated move for him to take Elly? the Nurse on the first date. She's genuinely decent and nice, which sets a (high, lol) benchmark for the others to stare at in that regard. Can't see them together in the long run, though.
