Yes, I always loved how everyone kept getting sucked into arguing with the dummy. They kept a wonderful balance between the absurdity and story, so you actually still cared about the characters despite how ridiculous it got. I’ve been meaning to rewatch it, I bought the dvds a while ago and still haven’t got around to watching them. Also have the Wire and the Sopranos to watch... next time there’s a break in the reality tv schedule.

I think it is rather an amusing show, though I am glad it is ending soon. It is running out of steam. But the characters are interesting and it is quite re-watchable. Though all those people are quite rich, quite rich indeed. So they have rich people problems like how much to tip the butler for this week. Or which kid is going to get the golden rolls royce made of solid gold?Look at them with all the emmys in their eyes.

What mystery shall we solve today?
It combines some of my greatest passions: mystery, humour, and a game show. A celebrity has to try and guess who the murderer is using pre-recorded footage and by interviewing suspects. And at the end the murderer is revealed. Fantastic. Hosted by Cal Wilson this is quite the charming show.

what was the best classic film you have seen at the cinemas? you know how sometimes they re-release these old movies back on the big screen as a promotion or festival? i imagine places like melbourne or sydney do that a lot. gold coast.....sometimes.

We were recently discussing how good Warren Beatty movies are, and this one, so it was serendipity it popping up on free view
Big screening of GONE WITH THE WIND........it is such an epic it should never be viewed small
We are lucky in Melbourne to have the fabulous ASTOR THEATRE......they screen old movies, movies you may have just missed, cult movies, special nights & matinees, a cheap doublebill every Wednesday.
It is a gorgeous old art deco theatre, rather large, with upstairs and down, and all the old fab trimmings - plus a resident cat
And you can make requests, get some support for running something and they will try to accommodate your wishes.....
The Astor Theatre is a cinema in the grand, old manner. The last single screen cinema of its kind in continuous operation in Melbourne, still standing since its grand opening in 1936, and one of only a few single screen movie theatres from the 1930s in the world screening repertory movie programming.

gone with the wind is one of the top films i'd like to see on the big screen. i have noticed it on the cinemas in qld, but it's like a six hour drive from where i am.
