What's for dinner?

if I'm ordering a pizza locally (and too lazy to make my own even though we've got the pizza box thingy for the bbq) I tend to go for the Truffle Beef Rossini from Crust
Wagyu Beef, Wild Mushroom medley, Caramelised Onions on a Béchamel base garnished with Fresh Parsley & Basil, topped with Authentic Buffalo Mozzarella & Black Truffle Aioli topped with Mozzarella cheese

or our other go to was from another smaller gourmet pizza shop
Calcutta - Chicken breast on a tangy tandoori sauce with capsicum and onion topped with minted yoghurt
or
Thailand - BBQ chicken breast on a Thai style red curry sauce with carrot, zucchini, broccoli, green capsicum and sun dried tomatoes with snow pea sprouts and sweet chilli sauce

of course when they were still both at home the boys just always wanted Pizza Hut / Ham & Pineapple or Meat Lovers so a pick up run would always involve 2 orders, 2 stores and a drive from one end of the suburb to the other O_O[DOUBLEPOST=1506045742][/DOUBLEPOST]
Ooh that sounds nice too. Anyone else getting hungry?
starving
lol

I haven't had lunch yet, I'm at work and my lunch break was taken up with my six monthly visit to my blood pressure specialist at work. Nothing exciting when I do get to eat. A Woolies caesar salad.

I know the feeling. My family are so unadventurous. If my dad is involved he'll only eat Meatlovers or Supreme or Hawaiian. My brother vetoes even pineapple and will eat only Meatlovers and Supreme with no mushrooms or olives!
I'm not going to order a whole pizza for myself, so I rarely get to eat gourmet. My mum will at least eat a creamy garlic prawn, which the others won't touch and turn their noses up at if they are ordering.

My favourite at Pizza Hut is a large thin n crispy half Hawaiian with olives and garlic and half ground beef, capsicum and onion, also with olives and garlic. Haven't had one for yonks.

There are donut shops popping up everywhere in Melbourne, seems to be the latest food fad.
So I asked at one, do you use yeast ?
Looked blank.........you are making cakes with a hole

And then a bit further into Oakleigh Mall, oooo a real donut place smelling of fresh warm yeasty goodness, and a donut machine popping them out like I remember as kid. Dinner proper old fashioned yeasty jam donut balls.
The other food fad - burgers everywhere, costing $20

I got 5 of the Vic Market ones a while ago. Scoffed them down while they were hot/warm. Excellent. The best. I'm not a Krispy Kreme fan. Too sweet, but I do like their tiramisu one. The old fresh Jiffy donut is the best.

Pizza - I get the bases from Aldi - the wood oven thin crust ones - $3.50 - sometimes I get the Rissoronte ones on Special they are basically the same.

The Mozzarella or Spinach ones are the best, for a base.

Preheat Oven and the pizza stone HOT,

Chop Red Onion and add to Frozen or defrosted Base add more Cherry tomatoes if you want.

Cook till the cheese is melted about 10 mins

Squish the cheese down and let it blend with the herbs and tomato base ......

Let cool a bit then add my favorites

Smoked Salmon - Rocket/Spinach - Feta and Olives

Or you can cook for another 5-10 with Garlic and Chilli Prawns with Pineapple

Yummo

I am hanging to eat these again soon - just awaiting my Gas Bottle Delivery
