This is how uneducated I was. During my 20's, I voted Labor because I thought if Liberal got in, they would abolish Labor Day.

An old lady once told me "you are blue collar. Your worst Labor party will look after you better than the best Liberal Party". That divide that was once Luberal vs Labor is significally smaller. I myself am a swing voter. I voted for Julia Gillard, I love her. But I voted Tony Abbott because the Labor Party could not work together to run the party, let alone work together to run the country.

I think my vote will come down to who I would prefer to throw a leg over.

Sorry Fi!

I missed this one completely!

My son was over the night we were posting our pics, and he saw your photo and said "does she live in Sydney?", I actually wasn't sure at the time and he said "I know her Mum..." This is what made me think you were Catfishing, because the girl I saw on his Facebook was not what you were sharing here on the forum. She had been in Europe for a gap year, and was studying at uni. I 100% thought you were pretending to be this hot blonde, when in fact you were a sad, directionless lonely girl who pretended to be tough on the forums. It didn't even cross my mind that you were a hot, sad, directionless lonely blonde girl pretending to be tough in the forums!:laugh:

So there we are. My son mistook you for someone else, and from there, I did too. I am so sorry I wasn't kinder and more compassionate with you when we first started interacting and I am REALLY sorry for thinking you are a catfish! You really used to get on my tits back then. You are a lovely, smart, strong spirited girl and I genuinely feel quite awful at the way I often snapped at you.

.

Thanks for the explanation and the apology. I can now understand why you were so horrible to me back then. Seriously tho at one point i did think maybe I do know your son, but can't remember him lol. All good Trala, the advice you have given me makes up for it. You were the one that suggested I do my AINs..... if you didn't suggest that I probably would have done administration at TAFE, which I know I would have regretted.

Hey in my defence you could be quite the pain in the arse!

I am glad I got to know the real you, Fi. And I really am sorriest I didn't give you support earlier.

Friendships can be formed in the most unlikely of places.

Okay you know how I like to reward myself with gold under the guise of mourning and memory?

I am seriously contemplating getting myself a gold bangle and engrave the words "my darling" in it. Those two words give me comfort and take away the pain when I think of my mother.

So it is up to you two idiots!

Yes or no?!

Haha that is true

Omg I could put both dates of my Mum and Dads death and they could be finally joined!

Do you know their divorce is a huge sadness for me. As a young teen, I had two cheap rings and I would wear them on my ring and middle finger and pretend they were my Mum and Dad and they were side by side.

My mum was her best mum when she was married to my dad. She literally used to make my clothes, bible and bake jam drops.
