our gas log fire died after last winter ... on really cold nights we'd have that on in loungeroom and it would be too hot to sit in that room ... but I could get my washing dry in there ... am having to use clothes dryer alot this year

put the wool doona on our bed last night ... didnt want to get out of bed this morning but had to get to hairdresser by 8.30 ... what genius thought 8.30 was doable ffs!? oh yeah ... me

watching the Wallabies match with blanket over my lap ... 2 layers of jumpers on ... and hoping they play well tonight as I dont really care too much (Kiwi-born All Black's supporter) but husband is starting to get despondent

How hot is it? Is it the Brexits who realise that their 'vote that wouldn't count', was a silly, silly decision and they're steamed? Today turned out to be a lovely sunny day. Rained after my parkrun had finished, then lovely and fresh.
 
Mid thirties but also very humid and very little air movement. Thunderstorms due within the hour, thank God. Should drop about ten degrees.

Nöoooo. I do not think those Brits understand what they have done, no, no, no. I have relatives that voted to leave I discovered yesterday. Sorry! (On their behalf. Sigh!!). They said thst the mood yesterday was quite subdued. Not regretful exactly, apparently. But not celebratory. It's gonna be Interesting. That's for sure.
 
It starts and finishes at Studley Park boathouse. A 1km loop on that side than over the suspension bridge and it follows the river and doubles back. Quite undulating and uneven in parts. I walk more than run, the point being though that I am out getting exercise and fresh air.
Very interesting, yes over in the UK. My bestie is an opera singer in Cardiff and for her work and visas etc, it's going to be quite different. She's seriously considering her options but unfortunately I doubt she'll come home. The opera world here is limited in comparison to there.

Well I'm an idiot. Yesterday evening I went to feed our dog, and I slipped on the tiles in the laundry, flat on my back with my left leg under me. I had container of dog food well that went flying in the air everywhere!! Hurt my ankle, toe,knee and back. Lots of pain today, which neurofen didn't help. Taking myself to Drs tomorrow. I'm devastated because Rosie was too busy trying to locate her food on the floor, rather than seeing if I was ok! :(:smuggrin:

I shouldn't grin but I did, at Rosie's obvious distress at your predicament. I hope you haven't broken anything. Could be a bit ginger when moving around for a while.

That is so awesome! Great way to remember them. I am not a great fan of Tatts, and heaps of people put it on their skin. This the best way, in my eyes, for rememberance. Then they can be passed on to your Son etc. Can't do that with a Tatt - unless they skin you :sick:

Damn Dogs! Dogs are so Food Driven, thats for sure! I am sure if food was not involved, she would have been looking out for you xxx
My Joy stole some butter from the table, a couple of nights ago and she has huge health issues with eating fat. She was acting really weird (isolating herself) since then and after last time she got sick from an overload and treatment costing over $1000 later, I was becoming really worried, with her health.
When I found out about the RE sale fail - I had a bit of a cry, and she came to me and wanted cuddles and as we all know, from reports - DOGS HATE CUDDLES!!!! She has bounced back and by my side now. Thank goodness!!!

Hope you are OK - nothing worse than body pain and I actually think the COLD weather around the country is not helping, Take care! xxxx

Well today the Oven has stopped working. So has my Convection Mircowave, so I am unable to bake anything, and I am a Baker. This is baking weather and I am unable to do so :( I really don't want to spend the $$ on fixing them, as I am moving on up and all. Oh, life so sucks sometimes! Small Issue I Know!

Lucky I have my slow cooker and the stovetop - Time to become creative!
