Very nice

My brother is a painter and decorator. It's interesting to see hear how fads come and go.
Are you sure nursing is what you should be getting back into?Mood Boards are really helpful actually!
I love itVery nice

I am not a styler, that is for sure. I actually almost have no basic idea. My jondra (sound it out) is white bread with a splash of no idea.
Omg flash back, my partner and I were cry laughing while he was drinking his craft beer in a Melb hot spot "it's eclectic industrial with an antiquey feel..."
So funny but I guess you had to be there.
He is a brilliant designer! Are you sure nursing is what you should be getting back into?
I think he should do a website for styling for broke arses.
He can literally turn a soup can, a candle and a rug from Lifeline into something cool.

TBH not my first choice its my backup to get transferred up north for security and will look for projects on the side, and hopefully get internship or jr position once there, short term pain, long term gain

True and side note, ever since I got addicted to The Kardashians I use the word "literally" in the non literal sense.Yeah and it seems like he is passionatemaybe a new career for another time @mutleyp
While he hasn't ever created art that I know of using a jam can and a candle, I'm sure he could!!

Could have been worse, you could have had malaena colour, lol. If you have accent or feature walls, I've always thought that the room needed to be able to take it, that is, in size, light, usage etc. Bathrooms to me need to be light, airy and with clean lines. A white bathroom will always win me over. Boring maybe, but it is a great canvas on which to start with colour trims. @Trala, excellent profile pic tooGawd remember my wall?!
What sort of mental defective walks into a paint shop and says "I want a feature wall. Hmmm I want it to be olive with a subtle hint of gastro virus"
Awful.

Hah, my weight is a constant issue with me. Do you walk much, apart from taking the lads out for their walks? Did my first parkrun yesterday then gorged on junk food. Back on nights for the rest of the year as of tomorrow with days shifts thrown in to make up my hours (nights is a part time position and I'm full time) so therein lies a big challenge. Hopefully with seven months of it I'll develop a routine for food. Every round of nights feels different so eating is different, if that makes sense.Omg I am seriously STACKING weight on!
So what do you think my first point of attack is? Bake a Buttercake of course!
I am seriously committing to diet Monday! I am starting to self loathe!
think being super organised and planning ahead really helps ... I dont work shifts so could be full of it ... but now that I follow a weekly food plan and shop for it weekly Im not getting home and thinking what should I do for dinner or Sh!t I havent got any xyz so i can make that tonight ... what can i make instead etc.Hah, my weight is a constant issue with me. Ever thought of soups as an option? Have some yummy easy ones I make that are great for lunch or dinner ... and great for cold weather

Omg so funny!!!!!
We had an RN grad named Milena, and she was understandably mortified when she saw her name written as 'Melena' on our placement board!

Thanks for the compliment. Given it proudly displays my crooked snaggletooth AND a white ceramic bowl I am sure Wayne Brown will fixate himself into a frothing frenzy!

Are you decorative in your own home? I actually thought I was much better than I am, I mean I can always find failures in home renos, but when I had to put my money where my mouth is, I sadly learned I have no fucking idea!!!

I live to eat. When I am eating breakfast, I am already imagining what I will have for lunch, and when eating lunch I am again imagining dinner. I am not a huge junk food eater, it is my portion size at dinner and dessert that tacks on my kg's.
I have slowed right down with my exercise. While I still do 30min minimum walking a day, I never ride my bike and I am flat out doing a yoga class every fortnight. They say it takes a fortnight to create a habit, I have a fortnight left of my holidays, so starting tomorrow I am going to dust off my Fitbit, and search for the Fitbit thread and formulate an exercise/eating plan. My weight at the moment is depressing me. The 2kg I originally needed to lose has crept up to 5.5kg, which is a dress size. Time to take control.
I would love some soup recipes if you are handing them out!think being super organised and planning ahead really helps ... It is funny how different shifts affect different people. I actually lose 2kg every time I do night shift due to the nausea I feel at having my circadian rhythm monkied with.
I will be planning everything I put into my mouth right down to the last raw almond this week and next!!!!!
