I think I always thought it meant 'positive' but in a bit of a sarcastic way and relating more to affluence/luxury and (perceived) reputation and used in the negative. Such as 'that's not very salubrious, is it?' That suburb/restaurant/street is not very saluuuubrious.... So now I definitely know better...!

You can always repaint. Do those sample pot patches. Then you get to see it in different light as the day progresses. And you can decide which colours you are more friends with than others.

And you can always do an 'accent' wall. Where the colours are similar, maybe same hue, different shade. That can add a little extra interest but subtly.

noooooo I cook em that was just as I'd cracked them ... I got impatient (hungry!!) so basically ended up with them scrambled through the veges ... was yummy

they are blinq brand - I like them. Non-stick, easy to clean ... i have a smaller one for single serve small omelets and love it

Runny yolks but cooked whites. Hate that gelatinous look of uncooked white near the yolk.

Oh dear! I can well imagine his distress. Poor boy.
I have a very healthy gag reflex and dry retch if I get the merest hint of eggshell in an egg sandwich or scrambled eggs. Whatever's in my mouth has to be removed and with the rest of the sandwich or dish thrown away.

i have a healthy gag reflex too - as in when I hear someone else gagging it starts me off - I'm hopeless around vomiting people ... even being within hearing distance ... just sets me off
