Episode I'm A Celebrity! AU (2016) - Episode Discussion

It was meant as a bit of a compliment to the Chief.
He is even tempered. I was glad he said what he said. I wouldve been disappointed had he said nothing.
And I had to get my "rah rah" Go Fev voice out.:p

I am bad with heights but I agree. My issue would be the handing over of the flag as I'm 5'2" and the leaning would be a challenge in itself.
Poor Laurina. Shut up lovey about Bachelor, and everyone else, you're coming across as mean and nasty. We have a girl at work who reminds me very much of her and her self obsession. Can be very tedious hearing her go on and on about what she's doing.
I'm that height too, that was my exact thought. Paul is taller than wippa, so I can see why his arms would begin to hurt. Kind of like when jo Beth did that height task, us being short would have been a huge disadvantage

...and Wippa is gone. Thank goodness for that. I hope they never repeat those episodes
I didn't see the 'it's time to go' moment. I'd already gone. I was hoping that the tables would be turned and Fitzy would stay, a far better prospect for entertainment than Wippa.

...what gets me with those high wire challenges (even though I'm not good with heights either) is that they are shitting themselves while doing them (which is quite understandable) but they are harnessed up not to plunge to their deaths aren't they?... it's not like they are actually going to allow you to die during the task for ratings is it?... so why be afraid?... just do the bloody task!... there is no actual real 'danger' is there?... as I said... I'm not good with heights but I 'd rather do that than eat Buffalo anus or have Ostrich piss poured on me let alone eating any form of bugs... what's wrong with them all?... toughen up you wimps!... cheers.
This is going to sound terrible, but I honestly believe I would let the team down in any of these tasks, especially with creepy crawly ones. I would rather jump off a cliff than have any cockroach on me. The fear is real

I would do the creepy crawly ones far better than the eating or height ones. My fear is birds. Very real, very frightening.

You would have freaked being in my home a month or so... A magpie flew into the house and it went mental. Eventually we cornered it into one of the rooms with the one of Windows wide open, but omg the histerics I was in and the histerics the bird seemed to be in was unreal

I have noticed that when they sleep with their legs akimbo, the camera sort of zooms into their nethers as the shorts gape and.........well you know.......foofs and fandangos on display ?????
I know exactly what you mean. I feel so uncomfortable when they do close ups of laurina at times when she has her legs slightly open. For goodness sakes is there no other angle to show from

Was tonight any good?
Tuesdays is now my local trivia night, such fun, I can walk there, it cost nothing, I spend nothing.
Cheap and cheerful ammunition against dementia:)

Birds are OK outside- but birds that come in the house and can't get out make me feel ill.

And @Sweetgeek why would you feel bad about not doing this shit? I don't think there has been a single one i could attempt.
Maybe getting in the yucky smelly pool. But no bugs, no caves, no heights, no revolting food.
I actually like doing outdoorsy stuff, camping, and off road stuff. But what they do is just torture.

I would have no sleep, can never sleep much, and never on crappy saggy beds. I would be a zombie and then eventually collapse.

I really don't like magpies, except for the lovely sounds they make. I have been terrified of birds for as long as I can possibly remember. I am now not too bad with chickens and can collect the eggs at a friends place.
The poor bird in your place and poor you. A lot of poo to clean up? The bird's, not yours, lol.

I only have two more shows that I can watch as I go off on holidays this sunday :(

I will have my iPad with me so will be able to follow things on here and get news snippets.

I will be in Burrill Lake on NSW south coast....making quilts :)

My bowels would go into lockdown mode and I'd be as constipated as all get out in there. Like pooing when you travel. Not happening.

I actually think the chief is that tempered. I suppose watching him for years on the footy show has given me this idea that he really is that nice of a bloke and doesn't care too much to get involved in petty arguments. He has always been passionate about various organisations and was always one to bring awareness to other people's struggles and reach out to those people. I just think he thinks there are worse things out there and more things to be grateful for and that people should just get on with things rather than make a scene. In all fairness no matter how right Fev was, it would be impossible to say anything when he is being aggressive- and he was. I like the guy and hope he or the chief make it as winners, but he was aggressive in the way he spoke and carried on IMO. Of course laurina was a pain and in all honesty I felt was purposefully trying to create drama, but he is responsible for the way he deals with those situations.

Paul is a true gentleman. I would have been disappointed had he sided with Brendan in that moment given his reaction.

I didn't like the way Brendan was talking either, though for me that could partly be that he was reminding me of someone I know.

I would not feel bad if the consequences fall on just me, gosh I wouldn't even attempt those things and definitely would come across as a princess haha. but the responsibility I would feel I owe the others is what would make me feel bad. I would create such an uproar about how unjust it is that some do it more than others if i was one of the unfortunate people who get voted in regularly.

Tonight was an ok episode. I found myself fast forwarding just to get to the end. Maybe because the focus was mainly on wippa.

So much! They are not huge either, so it can be easy to miss and not notice, I went on a disinfectant sprint as soon as it left.

That's a good accomplishment to collect eggs now, I have never experienced that. Did you need to replace the eggs with anything. Or was the chicken not on the eggs?
