Love me some tomato juice. Ice cold. Never had a BM though. Don't like vodka.

Vodka is probably the only ingredient in them I like. I had a Bloody Mary on a flight once for reasons unknown and I took one sip and wanted to gag. Luckily for me some old man next to me was happy to take it off my hands.

I haven't tried a BM but I don't mind tomato soup, so perhaps I would like it.

Veg + avocado is so good, it was how I overcame my avocado fear!
Fear? What is it about it that you fear? I have only fairly recently started eating avo. I don't like the texture, feel and non taste, so have to eat it with things. Much prefer guacamole. The stuff in the tubes is vile.

I've only recently started liking satay too. Peanut butter, smooth not crunchy will always be preferred for bread or toast.

Well fear might be a tad dramatic on my part, I was a very fussy eater growing up and there were so many foods I was too afraid to even try. For avocado it was the texture definitely. I still find the texture a bit weird, but it has it's place.

Very true.

I can not eat peanut butter, it tastes like someone has chewed up peanuts, then spat them in a jar.

While I like them okay whole, the consistency of the paste makes me feel sick! I tried so hard to love it too. As a little girl, the child that was deemed the prettiest girl in our class used to eat it every day for her lunch. And because she obviously loved it, I was desperate to love it too! Ha!

I can't eat jelly because of the consistency either.

Love jelly and port wine jelly is my favourite. I don't like crunchy peanut butter and love smooth. I don't like peanut butter and jelly. I have no idea what the Americans think they're doing with that. They think the same for Vegemite I suppose.

You know the yanks use jam not actual jelly hey?

Yes, and I still don't get the combination, but as peanut butter and jelly were in the same sentence, it was word association. I have an American brother in law and he introduced us to pecan pie or was it pumpkin pie? With genuine maple syrup liberally poured over whatever it was, it was still horrible. Happy Thanksgiving to all who have things to be thankful for.

So you haven't tried any weird and wonderful combinations? I call BS! Lol

Well when I was pregnant with my PFB Tanner I had the weirdest cravings I tell you! The things I made my DH fetch late at night! :dummy:

Seriously though I can't really think of any weird and wonderful combinations. I like peanut butter and jam?

I seriously spent the first 6 months of that acronym thinking DH meant dickhead.

As a kid I assumed the crazy Americans were putting jelly on their sandwiches, like most Australian kids probably. PB + jam is good, as is PB + honey, PB + vegemite and PB + Nutella. PB itself, however, is not so great. I like it on toast, but I don't love it.

Cannot do Nutella. Not. Ever. I am a rarity I gather.

Hahahah I guess sometimes that works.[DOUBLEPOST=1448532760][/DOUBLEPOST]

Lol! Yeah I thought the same.

I think Yankee jelly (jam) is generally a little bit of a different texture to ours though.
