I, on the other hand, haha, have an aversion to my hands being touched. There are of course a few exceptions.
 
So I just saw the ad for next week on TV. It looks like they show Lana standing alone with a rose and all the others without one before Sam walks out. Of course it could be edited to seem that way so who knows exactly what goes down.
 
The preview of him walking out is the first time I have seen the ear piece in his ear. It had never occurred to me that he was being fed stuff to say. Although I have always wondered how they knew the names of all the girls at the first rose ceremony.

I'm thinking Sam sending Bec home early has screwed with their scheduling and I think we may see Sam ask Osher if they can all stay another week because he's "conflicted" or something (translation: this is all an act to explain nobody going home to get the timing back on track).

I reckon Rachel will go home next week and the remaining 5 will all go into the following one.

I think he has to get rid of another one because they need to be down to 4 for the home visits ... then 3 to take for the overseas trip and finale isn't it?

Maybe he is sick - with guilt - it just got very real for him that he has to send original girls he's developed at least good friendship with - it can't be that easy - I think if it is that it will just make him seem all the more genuine in how he's spoken to and dealt with the girls

getting rid of Rachel#2 would have been an easy call ... next one - not so much ... by keeping Lana he has to then 'deny a rose to' Nina, Sarah, Heather or Snez ... you would think Nina would be an easy call but maybe we've not seen the connection between them developing

They usually have the final 5 go to the Blue Mountains and have mini dates with the Bach. They've done that the previous two seasons I think and I'm pretty sure I've read the final 5 are doing that again so I think maybe only 1 will go home this week. Then the final 4 do the home town dates. They come back, one is eliminated, and the final 3 have their long "over night" dates. Another is eliminated and the final two go overseas. I'm pretty sure that's how it works. I don't think Ali or Louise went overseas from what I remember.

Who knows though. They might change it all up this year with being on a small budget and all.

This sounds right except Louise did go to Sth Africa so maybe top 3 go overseas?
Maybe they have an awesome overseas sponsor
 
A bit mundane perhaps but yesterday (Saturday) Heather brought a new dress and then brought earrings from Mimco.

Could maybe point to Lana being the last girl standing? If Sam was in Sydney (and it seems like it was to see a girl given trying to hide it) - and Heather (the only other Sydney based contestant) was out with her friends (and also at a Youth Off The Streets event with her sister) ...then potentially Lana by process of elimination?

If Senzana is not the girl he chooses in the end I wonder how long he will keep her around. Her child is 10 and old enough to understand what is going on. I question whether he would do a home town visit and meet the daughter if he knew she was not his choice. At that stage they have to mislead a lot of girls and their families. To do that to a child is probably not something him or ten would risk?

I was at an event where a lot of the girls were, all the final girls there, strict instruction to be social but not to social as to not give anything away (also limit on drinks) Sam wasn't there though

In one of his Q&A things Osher said we don't see Eve because you have to be careful about putting kids on TV. Whether that means Snez gets a hometown date and we just don't see Eve or not I don't know. At the start of the season there was a promo for the year and there was footage of Snez and Sam in a spa so you'd think she'd have another date at the very least. Out of all the girls though Snez is the one I hope Sam doesn't mess around with. If there ever comes a time when he thinks she isn't going to be the final 1 I hope he lets her go to be with her kid.
