I was confused about that as well. I'm assuming it was his, judging from the look on Caroliconography's face.

Oh you're right, Daryl was the one who had it. I think I assumed Carol has taken it because they pointedly showed her packing when they left the shelter, and it seemed she had something else under her Tom Sawyer.
This really is one of those shows you have to watch every episode twice.

Was enjoying season 3 double episodes on SBS2. When a couple of weeks ago half way through season 3 (after the 8th episode) SBS2 announced "that was the half way finale of season 3. The 2nd part of the series will being aired next year"
WELL F**K YOU SBS 2, UNBELIEVABLE. FINALE AT the half way point???? LOL
So I went out and bought the Season 3 DVD (in the process of buying the season 4).
Here is some of my thoughts. Its in spoiler format in case some people don't want to know what happens

Here is some of my thoughts. Its in spoiler format in case some people don't want to know what happens
Cry 1: When Lori was about to die, and she said her final words to her son Carl "my sweet boy". That's just broke, as I lost someone close when I was very young.
Cry 2: Andrea in the last episode. When Michonne was with her, then the bullet shot sound.
I was surprised Merle's character was ended. A real powerful scene when Daryl finds him as a walker.
I thought as the series went on Milton would have jumped ship to the "prison people" but his character ended as (you guessed it) as a walker.
Morgan, from season 1. Was wandering if somehow he and Rick would meet again. He turned into a bit of a nutter. I guess when your in that environment its not all sunshine and roses.
The governor slaying his people on the way back to Woodberry, after they were ambushed in the middle of their own ambush at the prison. Didn't see that coming. I don't see why he didn't kill Martinez and Shumpert as well. I cant see the purpose of that. But i'm sure they either become best of buddies in series 4, or there is another twist regarding them.
In relation to series 4....
I'm guessing some new characters need to be formed (due to the bus load of people the prison took from Woodberry) and the Governor is back in some way shape or form?? Cant wait to watch

Yep they always do that,have a mid-season finale and then make us wait till next year drives me bloody insane
how is that profitable? it would seem the majority of your audience would download the remaining episodes and not bother tuning in next year.

not in the US for the current season and if you are following along with them ie: downloading it ,then you also have to wait till next year
stephan says this happened a couple weeks ago, and i am still up to date with my downloading and havent hit this mid-season finale yet

We get two more episodes this year. One airing on the 23rd in America and one on the 30th in America. Then it comes back next year. Not sure of the date yet. But prepare for a cliffhanger.
yeah, but stephan says this happened a couple weeks ago on s3 reruns. seriously, why force a mid-season break on reruns?

I don't know why a network would do that except if it conflicts with their other shows? I know some networks used to break over Christmas etc, so perhaps they decided to do that now when it matched up with when the US show had it's original mid season finale. Or perhaps it's even in the contract of airing the show? Who knows
