I don't give a shit about how they all try & manipulate other HM's, I just can't stand the blatant lying.

Before anyone asks, yes I have lied in my life, but it wasn't to hurt/harm others. (which I think Priya is doing on a regular basis.)

I watched the episode late late last night and have just finally caught up on this thread.... gosh you guys can write!

So I actually strongly agree with David about the way Priya talks... Not just to David either. Anyone else notice how Priya was with Tom in the tree house when he brought up Skye? Priya was very dismissive of what Tom was saying and the tone of her voice had an air of superiority to it... People say that David is getting cocky this late in the game, but to me it seems like almost all of the original HMs are....
This fight with Priya and David in the spa was just stupid on both parts.... and at the end of the bloody thing they hugged and made up, but I can guarantee you that the same argument will probably be had again..... I mean what else is there to do in the BB house.
 
Priya noticed Skye's reaction to the tour group so then brought up Ryan to her again, She is talking about how David put Ryan up in nominations to everyone but Ryan knowing it will get back to him in a round about way (not from her) she's now somehow in a strong alliance with Travis? and then had that "I've got your backs" talk with Travis, Leo & Skye in the bedroom. She puts on the fake tears with David about his comments on teaching and she doesn't like the fact Richard is onto her because he's seen her from outside the house before coming in.

Which is why she isn't trying to form any sort of alliance with the new housemates, she knows they've seen her in action. I hope it gets back to David that she started the Ryan nomination rumour. David would take her on.
 
Priya has started the rumour within the house that David probably put Ryan up. And she is pushing travis against David Also, who has barely ever voted for him!!!!

I can see a cruel and vindictive side to priya that just doesn't exist in David IMO.

I also think the Defence music would have been fitting in the spa. The poor bloke said nothing about her teaching abilities yet she goes on a rampage!

Yep, I completely agree. David has a severe case of foot in mouth syndrome and he says a lot of blunt and awkward things that most people probably think but smartly keep to themselves. However, while that's one of his less than attractive qualities I also love it about him because with David what you see it what you get. If he has a problem with someone he'll bring it up with them. He doesn't try and start rumours or plant seeds to destroy friendships and try and get that person isolated. That to me is just nasty high school like behaviour.

That one has me laughing because it's not like there's any strong women in the house anyway. Like you said, being a mean girl and starting rumours but putting on the water works the moment someone says something to your face is NOT what makes up a strong woman.

The only woman I would consider strong in there is Penny because she doesn't let herself get pulled into the "I HATE MEN" bitch fests...and funny enough David doesn't have an issue with her...

Yep the WeetBix shout out was my idea. @MelKen ruined the surprise! I thought it would just be a nice way to acknowledge you guys :) Mum will knock up a makeshift brooch for Pops to wear on Wednesday night so hopefully it'll get through the ninjas.
I think if Pops only gets one vote it won't be used on Skye. We'll save that for David to use but we'll brief Pops beforehand so he has a few options up his sleeve depending on what the g.o is. I'll brief him on mentioning #slayvid as well :)

We are so close to the end now we can taste it!
David has done us so proud and it is my hope he doesn't get too ahead of himself. He can have a tendency to get a little too big for his boots and I don't want that ego popping in prematurely. He has played a great game and should be proud. I don't like speaking ill of the other HMs but I know that the nasty childish side of Skye is everything David dislikes in a female. That sense of entitlement and inability to have mature, well thought out conversation and defaulting to a dropped lip and sook off would be yanking his chain big time. He hates the 'baby act'.
He has been so patient with her and given her praise and acknowledgement at her positive traits but the baby act is wearing thin and it's not endearing.

OK well, lets sit back and enjoy Monday nights episode. As usual, I'll be a few hours behind!

What has to be remembered though as to the whole "talking about breasts"(breast-gate) thing that was overheard, it was actually Travis talking about it more than David did, at least from what we saw. David was just the fall guy IMO.

It could be a masculinity thing also, feminism has been blown out of the water now and some guys (particularly old school guys born in the 80s) might not like how women emasculate men in todays society. You can't call him a woman hater if his best friend of many years is female.
 
Ok I have now watched the show and I decided to take notes while watching since there was so much hype on twitter today.
Haven't keep the notes in order so they prob won't follow the show line up but here goes:
1 - As much as it pains me I think Skye came out with such a good line that from now on whenever a Skye fan hates on David for something I may use there fearless leaders words at them: Stop bringing it up, it's done, it's dusted, it's in the past.
2 - however the comment she made after that (it was when she was talking about Tom bringing up the sank incident with Leo) "get out of my house" screams of so much arrogance that if anyone ever says David has gotten to big for his boots (again generally a Skye fan) I will be bringing up this quote. She couldn't even say our house in that it was the new housemates V the old ones, oh no it was HER house - I wanted to reach into my iPad and slap her one at that comment!
3 - the spa incident! BB couldn't even bring us the whole incident so we have no idea what the conversation was to start with and how it got to the point where David told priya that when she talks to him he talks to him like he is one of her students. She wouldn't let him talk and then stuck out the bottom lip and did the whole "I'm about to cry" voice - oh please priya - grow up and don't lower yourself to Skye's level.
David was spot on to end the conversation for the very reasons he said - she wasn't letting him have his say.
Then as usual in the DR she twisted it to make her look the victim by yet again putting words in David's mouth (just like she did when she told the girls David said he wouldn't listen to woman when they had the defence talk in the pool - yeah he never said that!)
I would like priya to give me some examples of the so called incidents she has seen when David has belitted others.
We often have traits in our personal lives that echo our jobs as that's what makes us so good at our jobs. Priya is used to having people listen to her and for her to be the one with all the knowledge as she is teaching kids so she prob isn't used to ppl challenging her and that's fine, be the bigger person and accept you have flaws just like the rest of the HMs
4 - I had to lol when BB asked priya in the DR where she thought the rumours where coming from about David and Ryan - ummm you priya, you single handily started that rumour and shame on you for having to stoop that low! David voted Ryan for 2 points for HoH and funnily enough Ryan voted David for 2 points. Don't think Ryan would have done that if he thought for 1 min David threw him under the bus. Remember Ryan never had the deadly dozen so he shouldn't know anything about it to know that David could influence the votes so much.
Priyas strategy has always been to align herself with the HoH - David called it weeks ago and anyone half heartily watching the show would have picked that up. During the last week priya hasn't had a bad word to say about David but the moment he no longer has the power they have an argument and low and behold priya loves Travis.
As for David saying he wants to compete against weaker people that goes against everything David stands for as a person! He is a competitive person and he would much rather be up against strong ppl than weak ppl - where's the competition in that? Priya should write a book cause her imagination is amazing!
5 - how gullible is Skye!!!! Can't believe she thinks the ppl coming in for the tour was a real thing and that her and Leo are the toast of the Gold Coast!
6 - Lina, lina, lina (shaking my head) how quickly we forget love!!! David spent a lot of time talking to you when you first entered and tbh, you have kinda fizzled a bit. You seemed such a nice bubbly person and yet all I hear now is you whinge!
7- loved Ryan calling priya out on her bulls**t about being happy if a newbie won the money! Only 10 days ago you couldn't be bothered to get to know them and you have always made it clear you are in it to win it so don't pretend you wouldn't be bitter!
8 - Tom was spot on about Skye and being humble. Her reactions every time she gets saved annoy me so much. Everyone else counts their lucky stars they have been saved and she acts like she has just be crowned miss world! (Heaven help the world should that ever happen!)
9 - last but not least - I loved the dogs looking so confused when the housemates where racing for the steak! Poor things must wonder what the hell is up with the HMs.
Sorry for long post but today's twitter comments really annoyed me esp when you then watch the show and see it for what it really was so just has to vent.
All in all I thought it was a decent episode for David. He is still being himself and he is taking this for what it is - a game

I think he and Priya are very similar but very dissimilar at the same time. I think they're both the type of people that need to be right in arguments, hence why they kept going round and round last night in the spa. I also think because they're similar they clash because they recognise their own flaws in one another and it's confronting for them.

They do go about things very differently though. If David has an issue with someone he'll say it to their face (even if he doesn't always express it properly). Priya on the other hand takes the approach of planting seeds about someone so everyone else turns on them.
