Betting Odds 2014

Is it normal for odds to disappear completely from Sportsbet website between eviction and nomination? Their entire BB page has vanished.

Yeah it's normal. The odds disappear after every first eviction. With only 3 people left to be evicted, it makes it too easy for punters to make money. And they'll be wanting to see who got what save % and who is nominated for next week so they can adjust the winner's table and create an eviction market :)
 
@Tim, Sportsbet and Sportingbet have now adjusted the odds on the winners market and put them back up

Why does Lawson still have such good odds? There is no way he should be at that price. He should have less than Priya and Aisha at least.

Someone or a few people have put money on him to win between last night and today. Realistically he should be very close to the bottom but because Lawson was near the top and only has been up for eviction once, his odds aren't going to plummet dramatically. Especially not if crazy people are still betting that he can win for some bizarre reason. Tim was near the bottom of the ladder at the start and didn't become the favourite to win until it was just down to him, Jade and Tahan so with this many people still left in the house, the odds on the winner's market are really just a crapshoot.
 
Ladbroke's seem to have more realistic odds and (accurately) rate Lawson a worse chance than Leo.

I love Priya and David but no way are they a better chance at winning than Travis. And Leo isn't a better shot than Aisha.

Those odds look to be purely driven by the $ they've taken in.

I am more than happy to take their 7-1 offer on David! I can vote him NADA as many times as I want with my phone plan..lol

Neither of them stand a chance in my books. I guess I was suggesting that they have more realistic odds on Lawson, and Ryan is gaining pretty rapidly on Skye.

There's better odds on David at Sportsbet $9.

Overall, hedging losses by betting on Skye was looking the go, but now Ryan might be the man.
