David Appreciation Thread

Still though that means people paid money to save someone that ends up leaving straight after the eviction anyway.

Unless BB are completely corrupt it'll only be offered to HMs not up for eviction this week.

People pay money to save every week and they probably get pissy when their "fav" is evicted whether it's a legit eviction or not. I did last year when I voted but that's how it goes. The point I am making is, the housemates don't have a clue where they are on the Most saved rung on the ladder and when Travis returns, it will show what many of them thought, is NOT the case. Again, just saying if Priya was offered the $$ she would probably take it considering she was the first week in her manipulating Katie to take the 10K a piece. It's clear she wants to leave with as much cashola as possible and if she doesn't believe she WILL win the whole shebang, take as much as she can from the ever dwindling pot still left.

Can we hope for a a voluntary eviction Tuesday, and then a real eviction Wednesday (Sandra)?

The ideal candidates for a voluntary eviction would be Marina, Cat, Lawson, all who stand no chance to win IMO. The people seemingly most likely to be swayed by money would be Skye and Aisha.

I'm wondering if this is a possibility too. In the most recent ad it says "Big Brother's first self-eviction live 7:30 tomorrow". Could explain why one of the live eviction shows was tempoarily removed last week then put back in. They might be trying to tempt someone like Marina into leaving instead of losing two originals this week.

There's been no mention whether the $5k Skye got came out of the prize money. Will be interesting to see if the self-evict money also comes out of the pot. It's quite possible the end prize will be peanuts. LOL, a bit like The Block.

Yep, it's quite possible that the producers have contrived a way to get rid of some dead wood ie. Marina. To enter this late, you need to be epic ie. instantly loveable or a personality off the charts, and she hasn't been either of those. They needed to send in someone irresistible to Leo so he dumped Skye, or some hot guy to tempt Aisha, while Travis was gone.

It's really not the same thing. Whenever you decide to vote you run the risk of there not being enough to save them and them leaving anyway. You're aware of that from the start. I'm still voting a heap for David this week despite knowing there's a really big chance he'll go home. It's a massive difference though when you vote to save, they are saved, but choose to leave anyway...especially when this came out 4 days after the voting lines opened so people had probably already put in a lot of votes. I reckon there's a lot of people that would not have voted if they knew there was a possibility that person would choose to leave anyway and would be filthy if they spent money saving them only for them to walk anyway.

I wouldn't mind so much. One of the reasons I like voting is to show my favourite they're supported...but there are a lot that do just vote to keep watching their favourite and they'd be mighty pissed if they spent money only for them to walk anyway. I don't think they'd be mad with the HM but more the producers for letting them vote anyway not telling them that there's a chance they might voluntarily leave.

I think he'd be enjoying the game and experience too much to walk. In saying, he doesn't seem to be having a wonderful time but I think he might take that as a personality test and still won't walk. I bet he can't wait to be home with his family.

He's a radiographer, I doubt he's hanging for money bad enough to walk. It's not like he's a "promotion model" or "student" like others have been and living in poverty. He seems sensible and realistic. Remember Aisha thought 20k was a stack of money, I don't think David would see that as a stack of money.

So it's double this week. I think its sandra 100% evicted and between Ryan and David.

I hope david is the one to take the money and leave. He's not even being shown so it'll be a good thing for him

Well she just found out David's game plan and she may very well copy it by the look of her reaction. Anything other than her whining would be an improvement lol.
Rme. Still want her gone though. I don't trust her and she'd probably nominate him again.[DOUBLEPOST=1413800642][/DOUBLEPOST]
I cannot stand her! She is bringing David down! She acted like she didn't like his company and now that Sam is gone, she is just making time for him. She must go ASAP she is ruining his chances.
Yep! She's so boring and annoying
