Katie using the word "poof"

Yet I'm sure if someone called her a 'wog bitch' she'd be all up in arms about name calling.
Katie is a vile human being. She NEEDS the paps to follow her or she's fade away into oblivion - which I cannot wait to happen.
I did have a few moments where I thought I liked Lisa after she was evicted but this just confirms she's just a bitch too.

These guys aren't going to get anywhere being total dogs to people... Especially people who may/may not be paps.

They're not even D grade celebs yet. I'd say they'd need any publicity they can get right now to make themselves anything.

By complaining about throwaway comments like this, it simply throws fuel to the fire. It's a little comment that shouldn't be taken so seriously. I wish some of y'all gay fellas wouldn't complain so much about these little comments which really don't mean much. Good example of a kid who dealt with it well was the one gay bloke in my year at school. When he came out he copped it hard for about 2 weeks, but he didn't give a shit. After that he was accepted for the person he was, rather than his seual preference, just like erryone else. I'm not saying gay people should be instantly be insulted for their preference but by not reacting to meaningless comments youse would go a long way to bringing equality in sexuality in society.

Oh, let me guess. When you defend yourself this one gay bloke is the "but some of my best friend are gay".

Give me a fucking break.

You are a self righteous cunt.

We shouldn't be worried about the little comments? The little comments are the bulk of the problem, shithead. The little comments that happen every day on their own seem like nothing but added up over the course of days and weeks and years translate to a very homophobic corner of society. The mere fact that you think we should just shut up and "deal with it" is fucking pathetic and cowardly to say the least.

But... I have learnt that white heterosexual middle class males like yourself rarely change their attitudes. So either shut the fuck up or I will ban your sorry homophobic ass from this place.

Please please don't think I that actually think this is the same.

But my son and I have red hair.
The term ranga offends the fuck out of me.

Some guy on the bus the other day looked at my son as he was getting off the bus and says 'wow that's full on ranga isn't it'
And it upset me.

This is my son. Love him to bits and it upsets me that I know he will be teased and he's too young to even realise it yet

So the point I'm making that while someone might not see it as offensive, it still is and can still hurt, especially if people have gone through their lives with it as a form of bullying and taunts .
Why do that?

I don't know the term ranga, but your children are both gorgeous. :)

damn cute kids...just saying :D

and the term poof is just something we, as a society, have evolved out of. Katie et al are remnant nethanderals still using terms like this in a derogatory fashion and they need to be reminded to pull their heads in.

Just do it anyway. Not like they're into the show.
Oh, wait, I'm not either.
Scratch that.

Argh what a cutie!

He looks like kind of kid who will hit 21 and be a raging babe and be making girls and guys swoon. Sorry to make you think about that mum, but it's likely.

That is some red hair right there but God damn he is gorgeous!! I don't think red hair is a bad thing, it's actually very stunning and usually red heads are blessed with the nicest complexion too. There are always going to be people who find names for everyone and everything. They're just assholes.

Lol alright so it's okay for you to call people 'bogans' or 'bimbo' but if someone says poof its WW3. Okay mate.
Being bogan is the new black and is worn as a badge of pride. Nothing wrong with being bogan.
Bimbo seems to get the same run.
Poof is an outdated derogatory term that, frankly, should go the way of the dinosaur. It is used to belittle and diminish someone or something and as such is just a shit thing to say.

Your ignorance towards homosexuality is clearly evident by your blanket statement regarding one gay persons coming out journey. Not all of us are the same or will have the same issues, acting like the 'one gay bloke' from your school isn't the solution, understanding and acceptance is. You're probably one of these people who believe tolerance is an important approach to sexuality. No on wants to be tolerated, people want to be accepted. Just because you don't find the use of the word offensive, doesn't give you the authority to dismiss the feelings of those who do.

I rarely find anything offensive, but it doesn't mean I'm going to shit all over someone who does get offended, have some respect. If you think it's nothing to be offended over, fine, don't be offended. I however have every right to be offended regardless of whether you believe I do or not.

By condoning the use of the word in any situation you're accepting and perpetuating the use of the word in other situations, you can't pick and choose.

Im gonna bring up an instance of someone famous using the sensitivity of gay people to his advantage. Eminem, at least early in his career, used 'fag' in a couple of songs, and copped a heap of shit for it. Had people rioting over it. Next album - starts off a song with the lines "My words are like dagger with a jagged edge, that'll stab you in the head, whether you're a fag or les, the homosex, hermaph, or a transavez, pants or dress, hate fags? the answers yes"

That album is the fastest selling solo album of all time. Largely thanks to the free promo he got off GLAAD protesting everywhere

Not as bad as Iggy wishing Ebola upon the Paps. However, homophobe nonetheless. Shame cuz I liked Lisa in the house.
