I know these two were arch enemies last year, so I'd like to know your opinions as I joined this year. If you like, you can explain why 👍
 
i liked tahan during the show, but post season ive gained a better appreciation of mik. she is a good writer and i enjoy the occasional read of her blog.

Neither. The only housemate I have liked is Michael and probably his mate who had to leave the house , was it Josh? I also liked the gay guy Ben who won.. so funny! 😄 I liked Michael the best.
 
I started off liking (and voting for) both of them, but didn't care for either of them by the end of the series. I do think their rivalry was good viewing though and I felt Tahan suffered when Mikkayla left. I think they were both very similar yet very dissimilar at the same time hence why there was tension there.

By the way if you're interested there were probably 100+ Tahan vs Mikkayla threads started here last season so they might offer some insight for you.
 
I liked Mikkayla, still do with Tahan.

The divide between the two is so reminiscent of Estelle/Angie, and it makes me wonder who are this year's female enemies?

so ryan/travis is the new mikkayla/tahan clash?

Though I can see it becoming Aisha/cat soon. Aisha cant seem to tolerate cat anymore and I don't know how long she will keep her feelings bottled up

Oh dear...

Tahan didn't want anything to do with Mikkayla, Katie, Lucy or Jade last year and made it known to them from day dot. She had her own group. They all bitched about one another and kept out of each other's way for the most part. It's just unfortunate for Tahan that their group lasted longer than her's did.

Yeah, I can absolutely see Ryan and Travis as the new Mikkayla/Tahan. They were even friends for a brief period of time like Tahan/Mikkayla were when they were forced to be pairs together (like Tahan and Mikkayla were forced together in the halfway house).

Aisha is a funny one. She seems to be getting much more comfortable and brave expressing her issues with everyone. It'll be interesting to see how far she goes because I also think she has issues with Cat ...which probably come back to Lawson.

I disagree with you that she had her own group.

Because I specifically remember at the time when she was crying in the diary room (a very memorable moment of BB for me, so many feels for the first time watching BB), that she had no one to go to. Everyone sort of had their own companion to talk to, whereas Tahan sort of was friends but not very close with anyone. I'm fair sure this was true, because I remember thinking at the time I felt really sorry for her because of it.

Tahan then became good friends with Tim, Drew and Boog towards the end of the season when there weren't many people left in the house.

I think witnessing all this really does bring up memories of her cheating ex. It is grating at her bit by bit, and tbh, I hope she lays it into them about it. Though the spoilers say otherwise *sigh*

The boys clashing is actually not as fun, because there is bound to be violence, as witnessed with Ryan having no control and not taking it as good as he gives. *

*women do it so much better haha
