I didn't even have a Tahan bias from the get-go. It kind of happened because of how straight-up she is. I love that she's a physically beautiful woman who also speaks her mind, because it's actually not all that common. Most pretty girls think it's enough to stand around and be silent, or not to try and listen to the other side. Tahan needs to mature, but she did sometimes try to see both sides of the coin. Her and Tully's friendship is a good example of how she manages to do that, because it was obvious she wasn't cool with what Tully was doing and let her know, but was still friends with her.

Mikkayla is also really pretty, but so insanely insecure. Her insecurity rules her, and I think Tahan got under her skin because she's 1 ) beautiful, 2 ) confident, 3 ) not afraid to disagree. That's a deadly combo for insecure girls. I wanted to like Mikkayla, but I just don't like insecurity. I wish she had just stood up to Tahan or showed she didn't give a shit, but instead she responded the way any weak, sad-on-the-inside girl would. She was also really nasty and gossipy, and while Tahan's attitude to her was brutal at times, Mikkayla just went about it the wrong way. I hated her whole thing with the "Sugar Sisters" (HATED BOTH OF THEM) and enabling Jade's stupid behaviour.

So, while you can't really compare them, there's a clear winner.

Out of the female HMs that year, Tahan was #1 (BY A MILE LOL), Mikkayla #2, Jade/Jasmine #3, and Tully #4 if we're talking about facial prettiness. None of the other girls were cute (the sugar sisters in particular were pretty ugly). Mikkayla is definitely very pretty, imo, she just isn't very fit. Her insecurities probably come from being Asian and being the victim to racial comments etc.

Mikkayla/The Sugar Sisters and Jade did not "gang up" on Tahan. Just because they were all friends who mutually recognized what an unlikable person Tahan was at times in the house, and all of Tahan's friends left early, doesn't mean they intentionally ganged up on her.

Not to go off topic, but I am so happy Tahan was beaten by Jade - someone who Tahan constantly labelled as weak in the grand finale.

She was so cocky always talking about how she not only could beat all the girls, but how she was better than them etc. I know her fans and Tahan herself consider her to simply be brutally honest - which she is - but her so called honesty came off as nastiness, arrogance and narcissistic. Calling Mikkayla fat and making fun of her eating habits (considering she had eating disorders), constantly saying how she's the best female in the house, making fun of Lucy becoming a teacher, etc - I wanted so badly to like her, but I just couldn't. I do appreciate her however for being an interesting and entertaining character. I also think Mikkayla's simply voicing her frustrations about Tahan to the Sugar Sisters and vice versa came off as "bitching", when it wasn't - it was normal friends, who were both unhappy living with someone like that.
 
I think, deep down, I always loved Tahan. I loved her too much; she's the girl I've always wanted to be.
But since I'm a vindictive, jealous type of person, I probably subconsciously tried as much as possible to not like her, leading me to support Mikky the underdog.
If I had to be friends with one of them it'd obviously be Tahan, though I think the one I'm actually more like is Mikkayla, annoying as she is. Got me stuck into a bit of a rut, that did.
