Because I specifically remember at the time when she was crying in the diary room (a very memorable moment of BB for me, so many feels for the first time watching BB), that she had no one to go to. Everyone sort of had their own companion to talk to, whereas Tahan sort of was friends but not very close with anyone. I'm fair sure this was true, because I remember thinking at the time I felt really sorry for her because of it.

Tahan then became good friends with Tim, Drew and Boog towards the end of the season when there weren't many people left in the house.

She did have a group, but most of them had been evicted by then. She had a very strong clique with Tully, Matt, Caleb and Xavier from the halfway house, and then Ed, Heidi and Jaz joined them. The whole reason Mikkayla attached herself to Jade and Katie/Lucy to begin with was because her original halfway house group isolated her (Tim said it himself). However other than Ed they all started to get evicted one by one. The scene you're referring to happened after pretty much all of her friends had been evicted. I remember when it happened thinking she didn't have anyone to blame but herself because she made it extremely clear when her own clique was still in the house that she had no time for most of the people that were still left in the house at that stage.

Hahahaha yeah, I agree!

The Tahan/Mikkayla thing I got more enjoyment out of because I knew most of it was just bitchy "I want to be the best girl!" rivalry stuff...and I also knew they could both handle it and gave as good as they got.

The Ryan/Travis stuff actually seems rather serious...or at least has the potential to become serious though. The fact that we seem to have missed out on so much footage from Friday night is a sign of that. I love house rivalries...but within reason. I don't want it to be so nasty we don't actually see it.

As annoying as I also find Travis sometimes...I also think he's harmless so Ryan's aggression towards him is hard to watch.
 
As housemates I preferred Tahan.
but in the context of Tahan v Mikkayla - easily Mikkayla. Tahan was really horrible to her.

She stood up for herself, took on 4 girls (mikkayla, jade and the sugar sisters)
And beat them!
She was honest, not fake.
If she didn't like a housemate she would confront them.
She was the most geniune housemate of 2013
I met her at the v8s last yr right around after bb finished, I was fan girling and she was such a sweetheart
And finally in my opinion she was the worthy winner, although Tim was great! I wish tahan took out the title and won!
 
That was last year, why the question now?

Again, this year BB is so interesting that we are talking about last year BB or even 2012 BB :bored:

I absolutely loved both! They both delivered. If I had to make a decision though I would have to say Tahan because I think she is one of the better housemates of all time. I loved how confrontational she was. At the end of the day though, both were entertaining and I voted for both. If Tahan or Mikkayla were on this season they would be my favourite. In fact I think Tahan would win if she was on this season.

Actually she didn't "beat" Jade....... and therefore Jade's "group"

I didn't even have a Tahan bias from the get-go. It kind of happened because of how straight-up she is. I love that she's a physically beautiful woman who also speaks her mind, because it's actually not all that common. Most pretty girls think it's enough to stand around and be silent, or not to try and listen to the other side. Tahan needs to mature, but she did sometimes try to see both sides of the coin. Her and Tully's friendship is a good example of how she manages to do that, because it was obvious she wasn't cool with what Tully was doing and let her know, but was still friends with her.

Mikkayla is also really pretty, but so insanely insecure. Her insecurity rules her, and I think Tahan got under her skin because she's 1 ) beautiful, 2 ) confident, 3 ) not afraid to disagree. That's a deadly combo for insecure girls. I wanted to like Mikkayla, but I just don't like insecurity. I wish she had just stood up to Tahan or showed she didn't give a shit, but instead she responded the way any weak, sad-on-the-inside girl would. She was also really nasty and gossipy, and while Tahan's attitude to her was brutal at times, Mikkayla just went about it the wrong way. I hated her whole thing with the "Sugar Sisters" (HATED BOTH OF THEM) and enabling Jade's stupid behaviour.

So, while you can't really compare them, there's a clear winner.
