Episode Day 21 (28/09/2014) Daily Show (Sunday)

Sandra disposing of Ryan

I love it. Where's this gif from BTW?

The second time I've said this, and I still can't believe I'm saying it but MORE TIM PLEASE. This series needs emergency first aid.
Same, and I'm also surprised by myself. I honestly feel like convincing David to shave the beard and get his shit together has been a bigger game-changer at this point than any of the HISTORIC AND MONUMENTAL SHAKEUPS they've tried to pull. Who would have seen that guy lasting in the house? But now the HMs seem to perceive him as popular and a contender to go far. There are stirrers in the house, for sure, but so far no one's shown the ability to actually change up the recipe the way Tim could.

ETA: What's with quoting today?

LOL if the new intruder is indeed this Ryan Burke guy, thats going to be real entertaining. I remember that he was extremely awkward and cocky on the dating show. Hohoho going to be fun to watch! :D

Yep! He was a real knob jockey right up until it was his turn to host, and then it all sort of fell into place. I didn't much like him, but you could 'get' him, and where he was coming from. He could make an interesting HM.

Christ no. Once in the house this year was bad enough. I could just imagine him as BB "This (snicker) is Big Bruvvah (manic laughing for the next 5 minutes)". Yeah no, I'll pass thanks.

A couple of things that stuck with me from last night's show.
1. If I was given that blue and white nanna sack to wear when the other girls were getting boobalicious dresses I would chuck a sad too. Hideous garment.
2. Focus was on Sandra's crush on Sam. *yawn* she has a crush, get over it girl. She is old enough not to be reacting like a 12 year old Beiber fan. I like Lawson's idea of telling him - get it out in the open and over it that way he doesn't have to listen to her pine for weeks on end, and Sam can put the kybosh on it and stop it now.
3. The Lisa/Skye 'chat' was interesting to watch. The body language of Skye, Lisa and her two side kicks was rather telling. Skye was sitting down in a vulnerable position. Lisa was attacking from a standing up position. The two other girls were standing crossed armed on either side of Skye, giving both a support to Lisa and her attack and as a support 'guard' against Skye both standing up or escaping.

Of all the girls I think Skye is the most adrift in the social groupings.

I think she almost won despite the Ed thing, not because of it.
You're entitled to your opinion but for mine 'pity' (females of all ages empathizing with unrequite love etc...) played a huge part in viewers voting for her.

Again IMO Jade didn't have much going for her besides that pathetic story arc, she was bat shit boring as far as I'm concerned.

Had the editors starved the show of the bunny boiler plot, I'm confident she would've gone before the halfway mark.

I just rewatchcd the two week from last year when Matt and then Tully went home. Jade comes across as really kind, really genuine, not stuck up at all, and she is model beautiful. Also, she was voting with Tim and Drew for the majority of the season.

Also, she was opppsed to Tahan, who was a figure of adoration, but also of hate.

The unrequited love thing was utterly cringe inducing, for myself, as it was so obvious he was not into her and she had chosen him because he ticked the boxes she thought she was looking for. She was never my favourite, but, looking back, I see the appeal. There was way more to her than the fact she got infatuated with a guy.

Thanks for entitling me to an opinion.

And if that is the end result no wonder Skye looked so pissed, they end up lecturing her because she is annoyed at the fucked tights???
Who knows.
Lisa sure is mouthy for an ignorant bitch, she keeps running around telling everyone what's what, and utter drivel comes out, all the time.

So now everybody knows that Sandra is FAT?????

Thanks for entitling me to an opinion.
It's a figure of speech to express a disagreement in a polite civilized manner. Would you have preferred that I said you were absolutely wrong instead?

You're opinion and like I said, that's okay I'm not expecting you to change it to please me. But to me (and many others) she came across as a superficial (i.e. infatuation with Ed is evidence enough) vapid (topics of conversation) dullard. I've come across plenty of Jades irl, they're a dime a dozen and nothing special.

Do you get why others saw her in this less 'flattering' light? Don't care either way but just because you had a 'positive' opinion of her doesn't mean everybody else (or the majority for that matter) felt the same way which is the impression I got from the 'tone' of your post.

So, I couldn't be bothered staying up past my bedtime on a school night to watch last night - is it worth me watching now?
