Has anyone else noticed that these three talk like toddlers?
Woahhhh I don't know what kind of bogans you know but I actually don't see not one bogan in that house. Maybe it is because of living in 2 diff states though cause he sounds like someone I'd speak to in my average day (me being a wog myself)He sounds too boganish to be a 'typical wog' but I live in Sydney.
I'm a wog, but I assure you he doesn't sound like one. He sounds very suburban Australian, though still NOT 'bogan'. Think, Valley Girl, but Australian version. Wogs have an ethnic twang in their accent (like the characters in Wog Boy) - and Travis doesn't seem to have it?Don't know where you're from but Travvy sounds like a typical Melbournian wog! He's the perfect representation of all the 20 something year old males in the northern suburbs... I love it lol
Obviously the characters in wog boy are older and probably born and raised in Greece (I may be wrong, I absolutely can't stand that movie). Travis seems to have been born and raised here, so I don't mean he has a very strong woggy overseas accent, just a 20 something year old Melbournian suburbs woggy accent (you may not know what I mean unless you live here). It might be cause that's mainly who I associate with so that's why I see him like this.I'm a wog, but I assure you he doesn't sound like one. Oh, Ryan sounds like a surfer Aussie dude.
It's a term usually associated with those who came here from Europe, so mainly Italians, Greeks, Macedonians etc. some also use it referring to Lebanese, Turkish etc. but that's not what it originally was. What does "wog" mean?
Oh ma ghod, yuleh.. Youse is right.youse know nuffink, dey talk normal n that.
Yeah, I can see that. Travis sounds very 'suburban'. Some young Italians here in Sydney sound like him. It is 'woggy' meets 'bogan' for me... Lol. John'06 sounded exactly like him - he was of Portuguese/Brazilian descent.Obviously the characters in wog boy are older and probably born and raised in Greece (I may be wrong, I absolutely can't stand that movie). Yeah I agree Ryan probably has the most bogan accent but it's not that strong compared to some of my neighbours lol![]()
A non-Anglo Australian, usually of Mediterranean extraction but nowadays it can include 'swarthy' olive types from all over the world. What does "wog" mean?
Actually he doesn't. More like a cocky footy player just like Ed. This isn't about ethnicity and while you may like it don't generalise. Many northern suburban wogs in Melbourne are educated and speak properly. A yobbo is a yobbo and it's not race based.Don't know where you're from but Travvy sounds like a typical Melbournian wog! Just like all these 'experts' on what a wog is and how they talk. Getting pissed of now and I normally don't.Bogan is so overused these days that no one even really knows what a "bogan" is.
