If it had been any other pair, that ceremony would've been justified. But everyone knew how it would go with Jake and Gemma, I felt it was just sadistic.

Then again, if I was Gemma, I'd bring the whole thing to a head and just say "no need to vote, I'm going to leave" and at least exit with some dignity.

Priya has definitely risen in my books after that though - tactic or not, she showed a humiliated person some compassion in an hour of need.

Lawson/Aisha/money scenario as anticipated. Lawson seems like a nice and genuine guy. Aisha didn't even try to put up even a luke-warm counter argument.

Does Lisa even own a bra? Know what they are? What they do? She could knock someone out with one of those rock-in-a-sock if she doesn't start hoiking them up. She would be getting confused as to whether blokes are ogling her breasts or her shoes.

Gemma's eviction, whilst inevitable, and just disgusting and cruel. Kudos to Priya for recognizing the need for Gemma to have some support and it's a damn shame that none of the other sheep used their brains. OF COURSE they should have tried to oust 'Jakey' now - serious threat to them all.

I am all for mixing them up and around but serious mindfooks like that are cruel and unnecessary.

....and wtf is with calling him "Jakey"... I know he looks 8 years old in those 'Where's Wally' glasses but PUH-leeeese.


NOW can we please evict Travis/Lisa/Katie.

EDIT: Wooooah... Lisa should be mega peeved that Sonia's breasts are sooooo way nicer than hers at nearly twice her age...

I haven't followed him on social media, but he's actually a nice and funny guy in real life.
 
Was anyone surprised that Gemma left? I called it a week ago. I do think that if they were dropping the pairs twist, they could have done this so that Gemma wasn't treated so badly. I do think that the housemates look like a bunch of mean kids now, which isn't going to help them or the shows popularity.
I know I've asked this a million times and no one has the answer, but why did they change the entire format of big brother from last year. I wonder if any big brother show has ever completely changed every aspect of the show in one season? Of course, they realized it didn't work and are now revising as fast as they can.

It's too bad that Gemma is the only housemate to face that cruel eviction process. I agree, too, why weren't the votes secret? And then revealed? In big brother US they go vote individually in the diary room.

I really want to know who designed this season. I don't think they had a clue about big brother Australia. They even screwed up the public vote. Maybe it was an executive at channel 9.who thought they cod improve the show.
