No he was right, I wouldn't have even apologized; the girls asked for his opinion in the pool and they got it... David made an honest mistake, he should have owned up from the get-go and told Lisa her puppies are now adults, but hey... you don't apologize for honest mistakes you just learn!

He said all he could say, as long as Lisa leaves it alone now it's old news. Nothing wrong with apologising if he wants to but he doesn't have to grovel for her forgiveness. It all might backfire on Lisa for making such a big deal about it anyway because I kind of doubt we're never going to hear her make a shallow comment about someone!
"Sorry you were upset" isn't a good apology, at all. Nor is "boys will be boys" an excuse for disrespectful conversation. Saying that it's "nature" that boys will talk utter filth, and that girls will do things like eavesdrop and get emotional does nothing more than perpetuate dangerous stereotypical gender norms. It's bullshit. Being a boy does not give you a free pass to be a shit person. I'm very glad that Lisa stood her ground, and if anything she was too soft on him, not that he was even understanding her point of view in the slightest, judging from the way he was looking at her and reacting to her, and the subsequent (sexist) conversation in the sauna.

David did the right thing. He even showed he was the bigger person and approached Lisa to clear the air whereas Lisa just wanted to act like a child and refused to accept his apology and then rather than just move on with it she continued to bitch about David behind his back to other housemates. Think it showed very clearly what type of ppl they both are and David def comes out the more decent of the two!

He shouldn't have bothered to apologise because it didn't even seem genuine. He was just saying words to get out of this mess.

From where I stand, he is in a no win situation; that kind of talk is not acceptable anymore and therefore he is completely in the wrong. Once nominated there will be no saving him. I do however agree that the other guys involved need to be outed as well, in this regard Lisa needs to dig a bit deeper and get some real answers. Overall though David is shaping up to be a shallow “hanger oner” and is doing all in his power to sit on the fence and duck under the radar.

Xavier from last year, doesn't fit either groups, floundering.
In saying that, while he is more sorry he hurt her feelings and she overheard, its not really as big a deal as its being made out, saying they a bit low and saying he actually rather Cat than Lisa's, and she overheard, at the same time they asked him so its not as if he went up to her and said "Phaow look at your tits I want them" then ran back to the boys and said "Just jokes they look like fried eggs nailed on a wall" ... mountain over a molehill.
"What people think of me, is none of my business"... thats what you get when you eavesdrop on a conversation

I don't understand why David is getting blamed for it all when all he said is that her breasts sit low. It was Travis that said they were saggy, which IMO is more offensive, so why isn't Lisa is not confronting Travis too? Is it because he seems more intimidating than David?
I do understand why Lisa is upset though. I would be really upset if someone said that about me and I think she deserved an apology. But I think David was sincere when he apologised to her and it should have been the end of it.

He said sorry for hurting her, and he meant it I believed. The comments were not made to intentionally hurt her it's just unfortunate she heard the comments. He never intentionally meant to hurt her and that's what it comes down to
Agree. I think even if/when Lisa sees the playback she will still blame David. I understand that what she thinks she heard would be upsetting, clearly it struck a nerve, and she's going to make him wear it and any underlying issue.

I voted I thought his apology was bad, because it was bloody terrible, but I don't think he was in the wrong. I highly doubt he opened up the pick your favourite female parts conversation in the pool whilst sitting with three girls, seems like something they'd bring up to get some compliments. He clearly said "no, her midriff and arms"- so he never said oh Lisa you have fan-fucking-tastic tits and then went and tattled. I didn't like the boys conversation in the room, but I'd never be stupid enough to try and listen to it. All he said was they were a bit low, Travis added his lovely 2 cents about them being saggy and Lisa got her tits in a twist over David's comment. Had she confronted Travis about it too I'd have a little more respect for her and possibly believe that she was upset about being objectified, rather than just having bad tits.

.... All this and brains too ...
David is an ass but I don't think he should have apologized. You can't take something that you heard while eavesdropping and blow it out of proportion. Just take it in stride and keep it moving. I think she is using this opportunity to shed bad light on David with the public and make her out to be a victim = votes. It working. Anywayz, David is an ASS .. the public already knows this. They don't need her help.

Why should he apologise! It's not his fault he is a total social retard, completely awkward, begging for acceptance from his BB peers because of his own insecurities, further contributing to this, he probably barely left his room in the basement at his parents house, due to watching copious amounts of porn before he entered the BB house! It's not his fault!

David showed he's an insensitive tackless prick with an overwhelming sense of insecurity. What a disgusting thing to say about anyone. His apology was merely ego gardening designed to maintain his false sense of security. He didn't apologise, his final words were 'all good now'. Clearly not.
Lisa saying she didn't have a good vibe about David due to his eyes being too close together is equally appalling. I hope these two are the first to go. And then Skye.

David should have flipped on her, and gone for the jugular. He's fucked anyway, so why not draw a line and split the vote?
If it had been me, I would have turned it on her big time. She was made to feel like an object? Talked about like a piece of cattle? Deserves more respect?
Aren't you the hostess at a strip club? If objectifying women offends you why do you pay your bills with the proceeds?

he shouldn't have apologised, all he said was that her breasts were kinda of low, and they are kind of low......so what? They are kind of low! There's nothign wrong with that, he didn't say they were ugly, he didn't say they were saggy, he didn't say he hates low breasts or high breasts, all he said was they were kinda low...... Talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Those women who work there, are there by choice. They (and Lisa) are willingly allowing their bodies to be objectified. Just like when they were sitting by the pool, they were all willing to be objectified. Lisa didn't ask for the boys to talk about her anatomy, (though if they had said something nice I doubt she would have cared). I do think what he did was wrong, and crude. Lisa will probably milk it till she leaves though....[DOUBLEPOST=1410822965][/DOUBLEPOST]
