Post BB - Housemate Antics 2013 - Part 2

It's got Hillsong written all over it. Pathetic.

My mother who now has Alzheimers has also struggled with depression throughout her life. I feel as you do about your dad. She's one of the strongest people I've ever known. And I would say that no matter whether she died naturally or because of suicide. Many days for her were battles I doubt I could have survived. That, believe it or not, may be the one blessing of Alzheimers. She forgets quickly the things that sadden her, and because we love her, my family are grateful for that.
YOU ARE BACK!

It was pathetic but mostly disappointing for me.

It's lovely reading the love in your family.

I'm glad you're back :)

I probably shouldn't respond as this debate seems to have eased off but as an Anglican priest I feel I do have to say something - though the very last thing I want to do is proselytize ..

I have not been brainwashed and, as the holder of a degree in theology from a university that encourages critical assessment of a set of literature in a wide range of genre that we call the bible rather than a literal reading of 'the book' as a science text book, I don't need you to knock sense into me. I am not poor, lost, oppressed nor suffering from a tyranny of religion.

My religion offers me - and many others - a valid way to express my spirituality. That's not your way? That's fine by me - and it doesn't lead to me questioning your intelligence or your integrity. Your words and actions might do that.

I will PM you a response. Hopefully that's OK, if not feel free to ignore it and put me on block ;)

I'm kind of excited because I've never talked to an Anglican priest, but have had convos with Catholic ones. Who knows what wonders I will discover... or maybe you'll ignore me in which case :( haha

My cousin baked me an amazing cake which I'm now consuming on top of a roof top holding a balloon. London decided to put on some sunshine for me, what a babe. #selfiemodespellsthingsbackward #bbqribstonight #youbeauty

Actually there are people who do appreciate my sense of humour so I know they enjoyed it just like I did haha

More strawman bullshit. Either that or I'm speaking French hahHAHAH
You are NONSENSICAL :D:D

Who said I didn't I didn't believe in God or a higher power? Not me, for all you know my God is the Flying Spaghetti Monster. The non believer bit was about religion. Honestly you're coming off like the biggest idiot who ever walked the planet.

I have to say I'm about 50% sure you're trolling me. In which case, well done you cheeky monkey :p

Anyway, I'll just put you on ignore because it's beginning to not be as funny hahaha.

Oh good morning you!

Yes, I think putting me on block would be for the best.

It is awkward for everyone watching you lapse into your confused babble in your responses to me. And lets face it, the longer this debate goes on, the more ridiculous and contradictory your posts become.

Flying spaghetti monster indeed...

Hello Father Sister!

Bless me Father Sister for l have sinned. First I breached my neighbours right to privacy by watching him shower, but in my defence there was a milk crate right next to a very wobbly fence paling, which gave me perfect visual access. What was l meant to do?! My neighbour has a great arse! Sometimes you need to stand up (on a milk crate) and do what your heart tells you is right and to hell with the consequences.

Oh and bless me Father Sister for I have sinned again. Not long after watching my neighbour shower, I dropped the C bomb in a thread and a priest read it, but in my defence l was dealing with a confused, judgemental religion hating nutter. What was l meant to do?! Some of the posters in here love God! Sometimes you have to stand up and defend the rights of others and to hell with the consequences.

Loved your post. And we both know if your whole "God and Jesus loves you" thing does pan out, you are my absolute only chance to get into heaven.

Ha!

Xo

Um what? Have I missed something or is he mocking people that are posting in support of them?

Dude has completely lost the plot.

Gees, what the heck is up with him? Maybe he meant it another way but it's coming off like mocking, specially with the 'oh here we go again' - maybe it's a hint to Channel 9 that they should give them a show. I give up trying to figure out where he's coming from lately.

Who knows?

This was his response when someone called him out for the tweet for being ungrateful:

  1. jackieo ‏@jacksmack0 12h
  2. @timdormer @BenFromBrisbane well not with that attitude you don't! Very 'un Tim like' ungrateful comment. We can all forget u if u prefer.
tim dormer‏@timdormer
@jacksmack0 @BenFromBrisbane sometimes I think we wouldn't mind. I'm just joking, we appreciate the love but it doesn't pay the bills.

IMO he's making a very half-arsed attempt to pass it off as a joke, but the initial tweet along with "sometimes I think we wouldn't mind" in reference to people forgetting about them and "love doesn't pay the bills" is a huge stab at his fans. Not only that but he's dragging Ben into it as well and making it sound like they're both of that view. Even if Ben did feel that way, he has too much class to say it.

Just bizarre. Like you said, too hard to work out where he's coming from lately. I just feel sorry for his fans like Sparrow that have given him so much support since the show ended. What a slap in the face.

He's obviously disgruntled his 15 minutes is up and Channel 9 (who gave him 250k mind you - can't pay the bills my arse - ) have pretty much ditched him, but God, that's no reason to take it out on fans and make them feel worthless/stupid for showering you with love/support.

What is wrong with him? I normally try and see the positives he does and says, but lately I've been left disappointed. I wish I just left these forums and remembered him as the winner of bb, because right now my view of him has been tainted and he is looking like an arsehole little bit more each time.

I think he's shocked he doesn't have his own show by now. I guess he overestimated the general public's appetite for a 30-year-old man-child who fluctuates between hippified kidlike joy one minute and bitter, self-important nastiness the next. Who knew.

Not trying to brag or anythin' but I realised this about him from the first 10 minutes we saw of Tim in last year's show.

He's harmless though, I can tolerate Tim and his quirks in small doses hence why I became tired of him by the end of the last season.

You know you want to say I told you so, just say it lol.

I honestly never saw this side to him when you guys used to point it out. Hard to miss those little jabs now when I think about it. I feel like the honorary clueless graduate.

Looking for the best in people is nothing to feel clueless or bad about! I've been back and forth on the guy enough during the show and since to believe that the good actually is there. But...yeah. So is the mean streak.

In all seriousness though he's never been this bad so I wouldn't feel clueless if I were you. I'd say it's more Tim changing lately or letting more of his true personality out rather than you just missing it. He's always said and done things that didn't sit well with me but he always had positives that balanced it out and his negatives were never as bad as they have become more recently.

In the house Tim was also a pro at using the DR to sell whatever narrative he wanted to justify his behaviour. He can't do that on the outside. He also doesn't have the assistance of the BB editing monkeys that IMO did their best to hide this side of him.

I kept giving him the benefit of the doubt every time because I latched on to certain characteristics of his which I adored in the house. But you're right, it's easy to do that in a controlled environment. He is now wide open and well the more I see, the more I'm not liking. I can't champion a person who shows a lack of compassion and a disregard for the people who made him number 1. He has 250k pocketed and those fans had less in their pockets when they chose to make him a quarter of a million richer. His selfish side is to much at times. Here's an idea, go out and work if you want more money and don't expect things to be handed to you on a silver platter. To think he whinged about tully not long ago about this sort of thing too
