Big Brother UK season 15 - SPOILERS

I thought last year when they were all told who was the publics favorite from most to least was giving them way too much infomation, but that focus group was ridiculous.

This isnt "reality" tv at all.

In regards to the evictee this week, I feel as though any of them would have been unfairly eliminated, to be honest.

I was happy to see any one of them go because neither HM was somebody I'm overly interested in continuing to watch for more weeks at this late in the game, however I do believe that Chris, Pav and Zoe were all put in a position this week where they were all nominated and, to an extent, wrongly received highly negative responses simply due to a simple slip-up of their own accord during the week.

While I personally would have preferred to have seen Chris go this week (not really due to the whole "creepy" thing, I was just never a fan of him to begin with and I think it could've been interesting to see Ashleigh develop on her own yet again), I actually do feel quite bad for Zoe that she was evicted in those circumstances. Let's face it, she left in most part because of that one comment about Tesco workers which was very very obviously completely taken out of context on purpose. She has been totally burned for it ever since and, as a result, was also evicted. I understand (and I'm sure she does too) that by going on a show like Big Brother you must expect that little things you say might be taken away and run with in a different way than what was intended, but I don't think it was fair to brandish her in that way after the remark was aired.

With Chris, he was also hardcore boo-ed this week all because of the increasing perception that he fancies Ashleigh and is "weird" and "creepy". Again, this is a tough one for me because from what I can gather from household conversations it kinda does seem to be a perception that the public have created once again due to the edited nature of the show. I think I am more inclined to believe Ashleigh and the other HM's when they say that the public have that idea wrong. So again, even if Chris had been evicted I also think it would have been a little unfair to him, especially if he got all those boo's after being such a strong contender this season for so long.

Same goes for Pav. For me, he seems like he is very misunderstood in there. It's awesome to see him finally gaining some confidence and growing into his own in the house but it's because of his original personality that he was put in the firing line to begin with. In saying that, at the start of this eviction episode I actually thought to myself that if Pav doesn't go this week then I can almost see him making it to the final episode. I think he could do it.

So yeah, this was the first eviction where I would have felt a little bad had any of them gone as I think it was going to be an unfair eviction for whomever left tonight. In particular, and with much misfortune, Zoe. But at the end of the day, that's the point of Big Brother so may as well lump it.

Pav made a joke at the end - seems his blossoming has begun. Wonder if he can do an Ashleigh, or if it'll fizzle like Danielle's planned eruption.

Yeah, mixed metaphors, whatever.

Oh my GOD, what the actual FUCK was with that Focus Group thing?! That was actually infuriating - not only for the HM's but for us as fans of the show too.

Whoever the hell thought it was a good idea to air something like THAT into the Big Brother house should be shot.

Sooooo much outside world knowledge this whole season but that just topped the list as the absolute worst ever.

So bad. :madd: What the fooooookkk!!
totally agree - I wanted to scream watching it. Even though they have shown Chris' empassioned chat in the DR, Ashleigh's own assurances that he is NOT being creepy in any way and that he's given her only enough hugs to count on one hand and 3 of those were when she was full on crying ... and STILL they refuelled the creeepy Chris thing

not sure if you've watched the BOTS show yet but the panel tonight p'd me off royally because once one of them expressed any opinion then the other two just agreed with what they had to say ... AND they were all anti-Chris so just fuelled it even more

the focus group's opinion is just like ours - formed on edited ... oooooooh that reminds me ... if I hear one more family member defending their loved one by saying ITS EDITED - ITS A BAD EDIT ... well DUH!! if it weren't edited it would be called LIVE FEED!!!

soooo - the new power ... wonder who we all think will be corrupted by it the most ....

Once Emma read out that Zoe was evicted I stopped watching. Did anything interesting happen during her interview or did Emma announce any new twist for the up coming week?
I found this episode really boring it looks like most events were revolved around what the focus group had said, it's like production does not trust the HMs to let thing/events happen in the house naturally and need all this outside information to come in to make it interesting.
Even during this ep I was only like half watching while I was reading up about all the stuff I had missed in the BBUSA house.

...I am sooooo happy that Zoe went!... true justice indeed... I will say straight form the get go that if Chris goes next week then so be it!... at least it will be for the (hopefully) right reasons this time... at least he won't be going for being... 'creepy'... good justice indeed!... I think that the public stuck it right up Big Brother by doing that vote... hopefully they are now seeing for themselves the way Emma and BB manipulate them and won't fall into that trap again...

what I have loved is hearing Ashleigh's BF telling Emma that Ashleigh doesn't need him telling her anything, that she is her own person, she doesn't need protection, nor does she belong to anyone, etc AND that he didn't see anything wrong in the friendship between Chris and Ashleigh. When I heard him talking about Ashleigh I thought 'go girl - he's a keeper!' He obviously has a lot of respect for her as a person ...

Ashleigh has an old head on young shoulders - she's gravitated towards the (supposely) ultra-conservative Danielle and once she lost her in the house she's been more attuned to Chris than the likes of Helen (even though they are getting very chatty these days I still don't think the level of trust will ever be there between the two of them - they are simply the last two original females standing and are distrustful of Zoe) Ash, Winston & Mark.

I wonder how old the BF is - he comes across like he could be mid-20's at least but maybe he's just another old/mature head on young shoulders too

...another good post crimmy... yeah the guy does come across like that... it seems that him and Ashleigh are well suited for each other...

I know they've really raped the format this season.

...more than once for sure...

...oh dear... I'm just about to watch BOTS now... looks like another big post coming from me folks... (just thought that I'd warn you all:rolleyes::whistling:)... lol!...

I was thinking exactly the same thing as I watched. They give them more outside information every fucking day at the moment. It's completely fucked. Is this the worst BBUK ever?

...omg!... the start of Bots tonight is as sad as the day show...it's pathetic that every single thing that Emma says the idiots in the audience applaud... if she had said that she just had a crap before she walked on the crowd would applaud like sheep... Rylan's' exclusive' about there going to be 'face to0 face nominations' was so predictable... only two weeks left means there will be maybe 2 double evictions before the end of the season so 'face to face' nominations was not that whoop-de-doo in the end...

..now lets take a look at the panelists... Linda Nolan?... she was in the group called 'The Nolans' back in the 70's and apparently in the latest Celebrity Big Brother and was the 5th one evicted... she also claims to be a victim of Rolf Harris too... http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/linda-nolan-claims-rolf-harris-3819150 ...

...Lionel Blair?... a British 'celebrity' that tap-danced on Noah's Ark... he was on the latest Celebrity Big Brother too and was the 3rd one to be evicted...

...both were nondescript celebrities that didn't last long at all in the house... I seriously doubt that either would have bothered to watch this series at all since the were both evicted... so really... who cares what they think of the latest eviction?... I know that I don't... and the third panelist... Steve!... ffs why get him back on?... before he even speaks we know that he's going to slag off at Chris because he called Steve 'boring' when Steve got out of the house so why get him on at all?...

...'there are 7 Goode's looking after Kimberly' was his statement when asked by Rylan on how she was... yes Steve... they're called 'henchmen' and they're on guard outside of the dungeon room that you have her imprisoned in... he then said that Chris should have gone... 'he's run the course and manipulated it enough in the house' were his words... what a slimey little sludge monster he is... who is he to talk about manipulation?... all of the crowd cheering every word that he said was totally pathetic... last week they were baying for his blood!... seriously... who really gives a shit about this slimeball and what he says?...

...the Ark tap dancer agreed and said... 'Hannibal Lector had to go!'... that so-called 'joke' went down like a lead balloon... nobody laughed at it... nobody at all... what a sad bitter old has-been!... what a disgusting thing to say about somebody that has been through the wringer publicly enough already?... Chris didn't deserve that horrid comment and all that sad old fuck did is make people wonder why the hell he is granted precious airtime to say disgusting shit like that!... what a sad old git he is!... I'd like to see him be there on the night when Chris is eventually evicted from the house and would like them to replay his comment to Chris while the Ark tap dancer is there with him... I'd so love to see that!...

...Linda Nolan just repeated shit that was said 2-3 days ago even though everyone else on Earth have moved on from the 'creepy Chris' bullshit... why say it all again?... sad bitch!...

...shut the fook up Steve... never speak again for the rest of your life... please!... he defends Helen of course... why are we not surprised?...

...Rylan was really pushing the panels approval of Helen to bolster Big Brothers attempt to make Helen the eventual winner ... (you've lost me as a fan now Rylan... well done you BB puppet you... well done!)... those Z grade 'celebrities' (for want of a better word) continued to lick Steve's boots and agree to try and sway the public to make sure that Chris goes next week... all 3 of those panelists are sad individuals... flogging the 'creepy Chris' bandwagon to death to please Steve because he hates Chris... so pathetic!...

...Zoe comes on... I fast forward because I already know that she's going to play the 'there was more to that conversation and I was misquoted' bullshit to come... I'm sick of her talking all the time... I can't comment on this section...

...I paused and played the discussion between Ashleigh and Helen to hear what they had to say...(nice bitch session about Zoe lol!)...

...restarted fast forwarding just before the one sided panel and Zoe started speaking again... stop!... plays the housemates talky bits... Chris wears an egg to the crutch... fast forward again... oh!... how about that!... the end of the show and the credits are running... thank god for that!... what a piss poor excuse for a BOTS episode!... cheers.

...you missed nothing much except Zoe saying shit like ... "the conversation went on a lot longer than that and I was misquoted!'... as to how she was 'misquoted' I don't know at all... you said the words and we heard them!... so nobody 'misquoted' anything my dear!... you may think that we have 'misconstrued' it due to bad editing but we didn't 'misqoute' anything!... we misconstrued nothing... you said what you said Zoe... live with it!... the only part of the whole show that wasn't boring was when Emma the puppet uttered those beautiful words..."it's time to go ... ZOE!"... but yes Inigo... the rest of the show was dead-set boring!...

I was thinking exactly the same thing as I watched. They give them more outside information every fucking day at the moment. It's completely fucked. Is this the worst BBUK ever?

...I can't tell you if it's the worst BBUK ever because this is my first year of watching it but I have to say... the amount of outside exposure is sure a desperate bid for ratings isn't it?... thank god our version isn't like that!... Alex might have his faults and our version is wishy washy but it's closer to the original concept of BB than the UK version for sure!...

What a bunch of horrible panelists......crappy Lionel, horrible Nolan and Psycho Steven...three horrible, horrible people to throw poor Chris under the bus

...I sooooo agree with you Lindsay!... I think that it is really sad that people keep wanting to kill Chris off even though he's been vindicated by not only a lot of the public but also the housemates themselves... these sad pathetic excuses for people were so waiting on what Steve said so that they could lick his boots like the sad little psychophants that they are... disgusting!... cheers.

...no Lindsay... as with BBUK I haven't watched their CBBUK either so far but I probably will the next one onwards though...it doesn't surprise me at all about those two... they are such terrible people... just horrid!... cheers.

I just can't even with this show anymore. Happy Zoe left but I'm bored out of my mind. That focus group was horrible, it seemed so scripted (I'm pretty sure one or more of the people in the group were panelists on BBBOTS before?) and the fact that they basically told the HM what is perceived just...i can't...this show is so fake. I don't want tasks! I don't want outside interference! Just give us conversations about life and stop trying to cause drama...seriously.

I know right.

Can't believe I'm saying it but I'd take Channel 9's PG-rated version of BB over this version of BBUK any day!

...yeah I touched on the same thing in a couple of posts earlier... the only thing that really worries me with our version... Alex seems to copy the UK's tasks and style of play doesn't he?... that was the vibe that I got while on our forums last year... as I say the first time for me in the UK version but I'm hoping that Alex doesn't copy the twists that have been in this season of BBUK... if he does it will wreck our version too methinks... just a thought... cheers.
