Have you had Baileys cheesecake? Nom nom. My friend keeps promising me a recipe but I think she is keeping it to herself. Bitch.

I once made a eggnog cheesecake for xmas day...it was yummy and probably a bit like a baileys cheesecake?

I got out 3 times by faxing in an exemption request, and the 4th time I went in and requested exemption on the day and got out of it. The 5th time I resigned myself to whatever happened. Last jury pool of the day. Last juror chosen. The trial lasted a week. That was 3 years ago now - so I am back on the roll, and expecting another jury summons at any time.

About time they let you be. There are at least another million people to chose from.

my doctor wrote me a doc certificate because she didn't want me to do jury duty when I had a blood clot in my leg. I emailed a copy to a jury duty officer.

It's OK. If you like vacuum sealed sandwiches and popper juices. And toilets inside the windowless room you are locked in. Not so good if you tend towards claustrophobia. And are happy to surrender all electronic devices, including phones.

Well I'm a total badass and didn't turn up to jury dury and got a massive fine. I'm yet to contest it, my excuse is legit but I don't think they will see it that way. The thing is I actually meet the criteria for exclusion anyway, so even without my genuine-but-totally-fake-sound excuse I could've just gotten out of it.
