Australian Formula One star Daniel Ricciardo is looking for love.

FORMULA One star Daniel Ricciardo turned 25 this week and a reporter asked him what he would like for a present.

“True love,” was Ricciardo’s response, according to the F1 Times.

A tweet from the UK publication spurred a flurry of activity from bachelorettes eager for more information.

Unfortunately for ladies around the world, it appears Ricciardo’s comment was “tongue in cheek”, according to his management, as he has a long-term partner.

Ricciardo is in a low-profile but long-term relationship with his high school sweetheart Jemma Boskovich.

The couple has been described as “extremely private” and go to great lengths to keep the relationship secret.

They were long-time family friends, with both coming from big Italian families in Western Australia, and Boskovich was Ricciardo’s date at his Year 12 ball at Newman College, in Perth’s western suburbs.

Still, we thought it would be fun to find Ricciardo, the ever-smiling nice guy of the F1 circuit, five potentially well-suited bachelorettes.

1. CAROLINE WOZNIACKI

Fresh from a breakup, Woz would be taking a fair step up from golfer Rory McIlroy. “Wozziardo”. Boom.

2. TORAH BRIGHT

Look at that toothy grin. The pair could even do toothpaste commercials together.

4. DELTA GOODREM

We’d love to see him with an Aussie, and Delta’s got the Goods. She also has a thing for dental commercials...

Delta Goodrem’s Oral-B ad was not well received. But, oh well.

5. JADE ALBANY

You may remember her from Big Brother. Well, her good bud and fellow BB contestant Tahan Lew is dating a motorsport guy as well, V8 driver David Reynolds, so the conversation would flow on double dates.

It's not all the HMs that don't want to watch either. Within a couple of days of leaving Tahan was watching the series back...even posting videos on Twitter to make fun of Jade. I can really understand why people like Tully or Jade wouldn't want to watch it though. Since leaving Tully has been confronted with a mountain of abuse due to her behaviour in the house. Knowing that's the way she came across, why would she want to watch it? Likewise with Jade, after leaving everyone abused her saying she was obsessed with a guy that told everyone he didn't like her...if she had genuine feelings for Ed why would she choose to hurt herself by putting herself through watching that? Why would she want to ruin a nice life memory she has of meeting him in there? She's over it now anyway so it's not like she has anything to gain by watching it now.

Re the people's character in the game: I just think it would be a shame a friendship that's been mostly built on the outside was ruined due to something that happened ages ago in a completely different environment where a lot of them were not being their true selves in order to win.

That is their prerogative. But it is an opportunity to see and learn from the possible mistakes that they made in a way they will never have a chance to again. Its also a chance to see what those people thought of them or how the felt they needed to act to win. I would want to know if my friends were talking badly about me or using me to further their own goals, even if it was in that context. I wouldn't want to be ignorant of it. And if that ruins the experience, then that's another thing they know about themselves and may need to work on.

Maybe Tully watching some of what she had done in the house would help her learn and grow and not do the same thing in the future. Maybe if Jade saw the way she acted around Ed, she would learn something and behave differently the next time. There is nothing wrong with making mistakes, but to not try and learn from them makes you an idiot. Here they have a chance they will never have again to literally look at themselves and what they were doing. It might hurt, but it could help them in the long term. You can't avoid something that might help you just because it might hurt.

At this point their chance for reflection has probably passed them bye. But those were characters that they chose to adopt in order to win. By acting that way it tells you something. Everything that happened in that house tells you something about that person. Even if a HM is acting a way they don't normally, their acting that way tells you about them. I don't get this "they weren't being their normal self" argument. They may not have been but by behaving that way that tells you something about them. It might be something bad or it might not.
