Unfortunately this happens more than we realise. Very difficult for victims to speak up about it. Happened to me when I was around 12, never told anyone for 15 years
I hope you've found some peace. My best friend told me when something happened to her. Two twelve year olds trying to solve a problem didn't work, she was lucky we found the right adult to help. The bastard died in custody and she never had to testify. But she remembers every day. Best wishes to you.

Interesting! I'm starting to really believe that tully never wanted it to be over. I dont know why I always thought that it was her that didn't want to fully commit, but I did think that.
I agree with you @Sweetgeek . I first thought it was Tully, but more and more lately think that Tully didn't really want to end it and has tried since to get back together with Drew. I believe she still wants him back, but maybe now is starting to try and get on with her life regardless. Although he only has to say the word and she will be there still.

i see it differently as in Tully has done the chasing, and maybe/probably still is. Tully wants to be married by 30, a lot of pressure for a guy that has just graduated

That's sort of what I mean - she is definitely the one doing the chasing and trying to rekindle things. I only thought at the very beginning that Drew was chasing equally. At some point early on though, I had the feeling that he stopped being as committed. He was still happy for her to chase. I'm not being critical of him for cooling it - I agree he is not ready to settle down. Nothing to do with age, or graduate status, just personality as there are plenty of people in similar circumstances who are ready. He just has a lot of goals he wants to achieve as yet.

I do feel agree that might have the case in the beginning, but I also think there was a FWB thing going on for a while after they broke up that no longer is, and I'd speculate that ending that was his doing. Which is probably for the best; I just hope there was no stringing along or expectations on either part that put things on bad terms. Ah, theories.
The good thing is they do seem to be friends. But like @Jt193 thinks, I too think that even though tully seems to be ok with the friend title, if drew gave her the yes for more, she wants it. So the only expectation I feel there is that tully was hoping that they could work it out again. If I take that article where she stated they are over, she also gave the belief that it wasn't completely over, I have a feeling she is holding on to that. She is making a huge effort to show she likes the Melbourne life. The one thing that keeps popping into my head though, is why tully a huge effort to show she likes life in Melbourne. Could that be a reason why they broke up and why she thinks it didn't work out. If that is the case, and it still won't work out, well that would hurt. Who knows, all in speculation.

Good theory but by her distancing herself from Drew and vise versa while in Melbourne and while it's great she is hanging out with Ed etc all of her friends how is that helping her hold on to the thing of possibly trying again.

This is not making tully a bad person, but she likes to play games. I put it down to tully playing games to get his attention. But she has also gone out with drew to the movies, so who knows how many encounters they really have had.

that's what i meant, but i didn't add :) Drew might have the travel bug after his trip, and if he was full-time at Uni, part-time working, then into the BB house, pretty full on. maybe he just wants to see what's next for him

Can't really blame him though he is only 25. And maybe he feels like it's not the right time

I remember when I finished uni, I couldn't wait to travel. Most people seemed to be this way too. It's almost cliche in a way. I think he has the travel bug too.

I think at the end of the day she can play all the games she likes. It will get her nowhere.

I thought she was very brave moving to Melbourne if was to try and work things out with Drew - which clearly is not happening as she possibly might have wished. I would like to think that she had other motives for moving there and that these things will work out for her. I really hope that she will enjoy life there as I think it will be good for her. She does seem to be getting modelling work and networking well.

I can't see her moving permanently to Melbourne no matter how much she loves it.

I'm not sure that she is deliberately trying to distance herself from Drew, rather acting now in self preservation if he is not as willing to see as much of her. She needs company as we all know and I believe she is trying to protect herself from being hurt.
