Don't think I believe this. Who runs that Twitter account? They obviously read that article where Sonia said there may be more housemates over 30 this year and decided to change the wording.
Didn't think they had chosen housemates yet anyway. Didn't @Bigbrotherpotential say they wouldn't be finding out until next month from memory? @Bigbrotherpotential did you happen to be over 30? Have you heard anything??? I thought you said on your day they were mostly young 20 something year olds, so there goes that theory.....

hahaha! What an interesting theory. From memory there might have been at most 2 out of the 18 people there in the last round that were over 30, so that seems more than unlikely to be true. And yeah, still waiting. I should know either way in a few weeks so will make sure to post an update.

i was starting to believe the over 30's house, oh well. if you don't find out until a few weeks then the season won't be starting for a while, we shouldn't hold our breaths. seems like such a long wait for you, i hope you are ready to go in, if you get in :)

So it's precisely mid July today. Have you heard anything or are they still stringing you along?
 
I reckon the whole thing will start about half way through The Block and there will be mad cross promotion going on. The Housemates will all be over 30 months old, there will be the usual 'love interest' story lines, noone will be ugly, there will be one or two country types, one or two gays, several straights, several hopeful models/singers/actors, one or two single parents, a couple of failed professionals, at least one hairdresser and a bogan or two.

This is my prediction. Should it prove correct, I will be performing on stage with other predictions about world events and your personal future shortly. A bargain at $300 a ticket.
 
Well it's pretty much a given by now that at least 70% of all the housemates going in will have a starnow profile, a talent or modeling agency or "manager" who keeps them in/on the tv show/entertainment loop

People have bitched about this since BB was on Ten. Nine's sorry excuse for Big Brother doesn't even match the standards of seasons 1-8, so don't expect any improvements to the show or casting that top them. Accept it, because I guarantee the show will never be what you want it to be, even if it lasts another 5 years. BB has had its day.

Big Brother SHAT THE BED the moment Channel Nine decided that Big Brother should pander to children and families.

Oh and the complete and utter editorial control the producers have over what is shown outside of the house. They don't even bother to hide it, either.

Could BBAU ever have an ICON on it like Biannca? Would my sig ever be uttered on Australian television without an army or Baby Boomers getting their tits in a twist about it?
