Housemate Hunt 2014

Last years HMs were given 5-6 weeks notice. One of Ed's mates posted a vid about when he found out, it was mid June last year.

I was someone who made it to the second round of auditions but I wasn't lucky enough to get the text message to come back the next day. I guess now that they have picked housemates by the sounds of things on here it would be fun to speculate who I think got through from my group. In our group everyone was heaps different so it was hard to tell what they were looking for but there were some people who stood out to me. There was this chick that looked Arab or Indian or something I don't know but she was really funny and smart and you could tell that the producers liked her. There were also a couple of really loudmouth gay guys that got on everyone's nerves, an old guy that was really annoying, a couple of mums, an army dude that was really likeable. There didn't look like there were any actors or Starnow type people but there were two ridiculously hot chicks in our group, one was a hot milf that was real feisty and the other one I reckon would have been a model and she was single. There were lots of really funny people it's hard to know who they chose but they were some that stood out to me. Cheers.

I reckon the whole thing will start about half way through The Block and there will be mad cross promotion going on. The Housemates will all be over 30 months old, there will be the usual 'love interest' story lines, noone will be ugly, there will be one or two country types, one or two gays, several straights, several hopeful models/singers/actors, one or two single parents, a couple of failed professionals, at least one hairdresser and a bogan or two.

This is my prediction. Should it prove correct, I will be performing on stage with other predictions about world events and your personal future shortly. A bargain at $300 a ticket.

Yeah. I actually really hope she gets in. She was obviously smart but was really funny too. She had a bit of a sad story to do with one of her kids but I won't say too much in case she gets on.

Let me re-phrase that. A hot, feisty mum with a sad back story. Now it is a 100% definite.
 
Mate I'm not sure what you mean this was the top 150 callback auditions not the first day during the first tour that everyone does. There was no round 3. You auditioned for a full day and they told us they would send a text to let us know if we made it through to the next day. Unfortunately I didn't make it any further.

Never mind about my first reply to this post. I thought you meant you made it to the 2nd round on the first audition day. Well done on making it so far! That is a good effort. I just have a quick question, were all of the people you auditioned with in the 2nd stage of auditions from the same state as where the audition was held? Or were some from say Tasmania?[DOUBLEPOST=1405850946][/DOUBLEPOST]Yeah I was referring to the first audition day where they have Round 1, 2, and 3. Sorry about that!

Haha no worries.
All over. Mainly from the same place but they flew people in from other places as well.
 
Matt (2013) tweeted that it was this date last year the housemates were going into lockdown. Shame it's not today for the 2014 series.
