Absolutely. In fact, we should get more because we aren't selling our own stories - we have had to investigate and search out the truth! We deserve adequate financial compensation for our gruelling efforts and the risks we took to unearth our information ;)

If you think that means I'm not a genuine friend then so be it. I don't need to explain myself to someone on a forum. I know myself that I'm a good friend and am always there for mine when they need me and to me that's the most important thing. I still have many friends that I've known since childhood and we've all screwed up through the years but the reason we're still so tight now is because we can all forgive. In my opinion you don't really know how strong a friendship really is until its foundations have been rocked a few times.

I don't think that's perfect, I just think that's common sense. That's just always been something that happens. If I tell my friend something important or they tell me something, its goes no further. Its not like we never fuck up, but not in that respect because its just what it is.

You're acting like I asked you to justify yourself to me. I told what I think and what I do and what I expect out of my real friends. At no point was I like "and if you don't do this then you aren't a good friend either". Everybody has different standards and values and just because yours may differ from mine does not mean they are wrong. Don't get so defensive. I think you know what real friendship is when you are going through hard times and they are there for you consistently.
