I agree, and I'm feeling a little ridiculous that I treated this as a one person relationship based on how vocal she had been on it.

Not a great look for tully?
If anything, I've realised that tully was not the only one in that relationship and therefore not alone in how it ended.
Drew himself said in the house that he's not the best boyfriend so I wouldn't be shocked at whatever the truth might be. The more I think about these BB relationships it reminds me of a holiday romance in Thailand or Bali. Everything's hunky dory because your trip is already paid for, you don't have to pay bills/go to work/deal with family and friends but when you're back to reality even when living in the same city it usually fizzles out. I'm guilty of getting caught up in how much in love they seemed but a few months past it, really they were only together for less than 2 months on the outside so I wonder wtf was I thinking. It would've made a great fairytale ending but I'm under no illusions that Drew also doesn't share the blame. When someone tells you who they are (a bad bf)... believe them.

I am reminded of the girl he broke up with just before big brother. The aunt was quite vocal about it. So yes, I shouldn't have placed all the blame on tully. I really do feel stupid for doing so.
Edit: it should be noted that I did place blame on tully, but really why should any of them be blamed about it, I really should look at it from the perspective that it's ok for relationships not to work out rather than see it as a blame game.

One person is much more vocal about the relationship than the other has been so you really only have one side to go on. That doesn't mean her interpretation of events is the same way Drew sees it.

Well, she pretty much blew the last one, so, you know, patterns. And it looked like she was having a hard time choosing between lives, so it would be pretty easy to assume he just got the short end. But most failed relationships are a two-way street, and you're right, it doesn't seem like he has the greatest pattern either, so...
Oh, and great, more rain. I may catch the Sydneys myself.

I agree with your edit. At that stage, the one I blamed was the loud mouthed aunt who thought she nada right to air her niece's dirty laundry. Glad she's not related to me.

I don't think we will ever know and I think it's better that way. There will be her truth and his truth but the actual truth will be lost in translation

That was humiliating. Especially to throw your nieces name like that in social media. I would not want that for any of my family members. Though I did find it hard not to care about what she said.
