Post BB - Housemate Antics 2013

Drew t shirts may be going ok. I just looked at a couple of them to buy for my son and the mediums were sold out. I hope it goes well for him. I agree the shirts are expensive but they aren't more than some of the other places of similar quality like All Saints.
For me in New York the shipping will be a lot too.

Why would I? If you have an issue with anyone being a meercat and hiding then take if up with them and address them directly. Don't address it to one of the "Jade fans" that happily interact in both threads and don't abide by the ridiculous "us vs them" mentality that ya'll obviously have going on. The only thing I don't like is people -ie you- (who obviously do have an issue) taking it out on the same couple of posters repeatedly. The show is done. We know that (I'm pretty sure the only reason any of us come back here is due to habit, other posters that we've become online friends with and wanting to keep distracted from work, etc). I'm pretty sure all of the HMs know it too but Tim and Nathan are doing whatever they can to keep somewhat relevant for another 30 seconds even if it means self combusting in the process. I couldn't care less how many "fans" we might have "cost" Jade here. It obviously didn't hurt her too much when it actually mattered.

You said in your post that it's hard not to feel like it's directed at you, which is why you misread Mrs B post as a direct attack on you. That's the issue. You take a post about jade with even a slight negative and put words in our posts that weren't said and manipulate it to something completely not said. You question every thought of that post when the person who posted the negative is stating an opinion and doesn't care for every bit of information to be scrutinised as to why they can feel the way they want. So technically, it is your issues that are affecting how you view some of our posts as you are the one taking it more seriously then it needs to be and in turn getting the same responses back from some of us now. Like you said, you viewed the post to mean you were being attacked when in actual case it wasn't that way. Again, that is what the issue is.

Anyways I'm done to death with this 'discussion' and would like nothing more than to move on. Talking about tully and her dog is much more interesting, heck, even tahans awful pink top is a more favourable topic at the moment. I'm sure everyone who still comes on to this thread is happy for a change of tune.

Even though I've lived here for several years now and am somewhat used to the jacked up pricing, I still think they're too expensive. These aren't James Perse tshirts with that crazy soft cotton where you feel like you're wearing goose feathers. These are just regular tshirts with random writing. I love Drew but for $60+ I'd rather throw in the extra $40 and buy a ticket for the Bali kids he's supporting.

If this is going to be another 1888 dalliance type stay, I'm not sure I can look.

Obviously she isn't feeling ok - she even answered someones question about whether her and Drew got together with a thumbs up - she seems to have forgotten to tell them they broke up though...

Sigh... Walked into that one, didn't I? You are making it extremely difficult to bite my tongue, that's all I will say. Ok a bit more, tully probably is hoping for a freebie. The more I read that tweet the more it comes across that way
 
God, what's with the jade bashing????
She is not perfect, none of the hm's are.
I was a fan of Tim and jade and I found Tim's video harmless and funny - it told us nothing that we already knew.
It may have hit a nerve with the 4 hm's it involved, if it was about me I would probably be upset too.
Jade seems to be moving on with her life, she does a lot of charity work, doing her acting studies and attempting to get an acting gig - good on her I say.
Leave the poor girl alone, I am sure all the hm's read the forums, it must upset them to read such harsh words.

Interesting on the Drew thumb up symbol...(I thought she's pretty much avoided that topic when anyone asks her about that on SM, and a lot of people constantly ask her and Drew)..

She must be going for several nights to a B&B/hotel (otherwise I don't see why she wouldn't just leave the dog with someone, maybe a friend....on 2nd thought I don't get why she needs the dog to come with her anyway)

...and after just complaining about her financial situation that seems a little odd..

I bought my hubby a feet shirts from target for 10 dollars that have anchorman expressions on them. The tops drew is shown wearing are those type of things to me. I'm sure the material isn't one kind of Ralph Lauren, where if you go to Birkenhead point or DFO, you can buy a shirt for 70 to 80 dollars. Sorry, don't mean to be a pain, but I agree with sparrow. Not worth that much IMO. But I. Saying that, drew could be selling a lifestyle with this shirt.

That's...not what I was referring to at all. You said you wondered how many people were turned off Jade due to her fans, and I was pointing out that we couldn't have cost her too many given back when it actually mattered she went pretty damn close to winning it.

And what's wrong with hoping she goes well post-BB? Or what's wrong with anyone wanting any of the HMs to do well for themselves post-BB? Jade was pretty much the first HM to admit out of the house that she didn't except anything to come from BB in terms of her acting. I've never once gotten the impression that she wanted any media gigs anyway. Her mum said she had some offers to consider from Channel 9 when she first left the house but I reckon she turned them down. Some of them just might not want to be on TV for the sake of being on TV. All she's ever said is that she wants to act. She's picked a tough industry and she obviously knows that. She relocated to Sydney to do one of the best acting classes available and she's going through all the steps. If she gets there then good on her for doing it the right way and not just trying to ride the BB wave like a lot of them are. If not then at least she can say she gave it her best shot and she can go and do a 9-5 job like I suspect all the HMs will be doing by this time next year when they can't cry about being poor anymore and hoping people give them things. And what's your beef with Rohan? He might be a very good actor? Doesn't matter if you came second or were second evicted on freaking Big Brother when it comes to getting an acting career. They don't just hand them out. You actually have to have skills and they're both going through the same steps to get them.

Argh! Here we go! It's a discussion thread! Therefore people are allowed to have an opinion! Therefore it will be stated! 'Leave her alone', really?! If the hms read the forums, won't they read the jade thread and see the 'bashing' that some have said about jazz, tahan, tim, Ed or whoever else? But for you as long as it isn't about jade then it's fine, is it?

And good on jade for taking it seriously enough to do something about her acting hopes. I really do see her in a h&a type of role. It's close to home, she's a beach type of girl so she can relate her love to it and she really wants it, so for that alone, good luck to her! I respect people who try and make a go of things no matter how limited the sources are. But there is nothing wrong with using the bb experience to help then get there either.
