Not my issue and if anything that's something you need to address with your fellow Jade fans. Id be interested to see the # of people who were turned off this girl thanks to her diehard fans. MKR and The Block have started - both shows that kicked BB'S ass on any given day. The BB pheno is done. Flippin Pookie had it right all along.
 
I do like this avatar you're using, camerashy1. Its a peaceful symbol. The hash tags are a bit sad but then again its like starting over. Anything is possible.

This was my first season to lurk and post in this forum. I am curious, when the new big brother season begins, whether the people who were Tim fans, Jade fans, Tully fans etc choose the same people from the new group, or we all get scrambled toward different characters in the house.

I hope they can fill the house with interesting people, but this past season is going to be very very difficult to top, for me. :) I've loved every bit of it, even the bits that brought me to tears, or anger. When you can feel all those emotions from just watching a tv show on your computer, the producers have done their job.

I was going to buy one of his shirts, only as a souvenir, but they are kinda pricey for T-shirts. Not his fault I know, I read the posts that said those prices aren't that high for Australia, but its high for me when I don't even wear T-shirts...And the link was kind of unusual, its Drew's line of clothing but it seemed to be on someone else's page? I dunno, I need to look at it again. Maybe they will come up with key chains or ties or something smaller that I can get, lol. The logos on the shirts, are those his own design?

Waiting for the Sugar Sisters boutique to open so I can buy from them, hopefully something small like a pair of socks or a cute little clutch purse. I like the girls. Their clothes, the dressing alike, hair extensions, the sweet exterior never bothered me. Its like Tim said, its like the cherry on top of a sundae, its pretty to look at and nice to have around and you miss it when its not there. I thought they brought a bit of joy to a house that sorely needed it.
 
i am sure we will pick different hms, just to keep it interesting, ha

some people like the version of BB when it was on CH10, some the newer one on CH9. i am a fan of the more extreme rewards/punishment system, where BB was intimidating, and rules were more strict. i also liked the livestream which is now not available

this year definitely had a great cast, but i am a Joe/Jane Average lover. i am positive there are those out there who are not looking for stardom, just their eye on the prize, and are not only intelligent, but also super entertaining. Alex just has to find them amongst the people auditioning

i will add that BB should never have been geared towards being child friendly, it should be a show filled with adult conversations and debates. CH9 is giving us airy fairy clips of nothingness, and it comes to the point where what do we know of the hms? what the hell they are doing in there, besides swimming, sunbaking, and the occasional slandering? we really have no idea

i love the show, but it needs to keep the basics

and another thing, mix the locality of hms up. there was a ridiculous amount of Victorians this year, some who live a couple of houses apart. then there was the NSW group where 2 lived in the same suburb. further snooping revealed the majority were connected to past hms, or people running the show. i don't want them to previously know each other, or siblings of each other, or going to uni with each other. i want randoms who are just randoms

my post is getting longer and more whiny so i will stop, unless i remember something else

For the record I like Jade because she isn't perfect. I respected that she had the guts to just go on in there and just show who she was warts and all. I found it refreshing next to people like Ed and Ben who I felt were putting on a persona and didn't have the guts to let us see who they really were.

Not sure where you're getting the vibe that anyone thinks she's perfect. I don't think she's Satan and will defend her when people imply she is, but yeah, certainly not perfect and that's what I like about her. Nobody likes a Mary Sue character.

Jade isn't all bad at all, but she isn't close to perfect either. You say you like Jade because she isn't perfect, share with us a couple of her imperfections as you see them, if you are so objective.

Why would I? If you have an issue with anyone being a meercat and hiding then take if up with them and address them directly. Don't address it to one of the "Jade fans" that happily interact in both threads and don't abide by the ridiculous "us vs them" mentality that ya'll obviously have going on. I couldn't care less, people are going to post where and what they want. Who cares at this stage? The only thing I don't like is people -ie you- (who obviously do have an issue) taking it out on the same couple of posters repeatedly. The show is done. We know that (I'm pretty sure the only reason any of us come back here is due to habit, other posters that we've become online friends with and wanting to keep distracted from work, etc). I'm pretty sure all of the HMs know it too but Tim and Nathan are doing whatever they can to keep somewhat relevant for another 30 seconds even if it means self combusting in the process. I couldn't care less how many "fans" we might have "cost" Jade here. It obviously didn't hurt her too much when it actually mattered.

Yeah I rarely comment on clothing but I really don't like that pink top. It looks like sexy underwear to me instead of a shirt. Must be one of her faves though, she wears it so much. Anyways, she's a beauty.

Really? Where is the proof that she's not "hurting"? What has she done of worth in the past few months? More importantly what has she done to get paid? I go into the JA thread and people are posting pics from photo shoots in Nov and Dec. Ch 9 doesn't even bother with her although they continually hire Tim, Tully, Ben and Tahan. Even Nathan has had a job twice in Adelaide thanks to them. And with all of her free time since she doesn't work and no one's hiring her for media gigs, what charity events has she been involved in where it wasn't just a photo op with Ed? But if you consider her having a generic audition for a casting agency a win - the same friggin audition Rohan had LOL - then yeah, she's doing great! Hopefully she did ok enough that we eventually see her as Extra #4 on Million Dollar Minute.
