That's true, but I don't think she's been back down to the Southern Highlands since her mother was in hospital a couple of weeks ago, so I think this could be today, if they were at the beach in the morning. She could have then headed down south when Dan headed to the airport (his pic was posted at about 1.30 or so at the airport, so he may not have left home until 12ish).
Dan was also away on his cruise when Jade went to the highlands and her video states that the beach and bush were a couple of hours apart so has to have been since he got back.
I have no idea where she was last night because there were no locations on her tweets. There was the photo a girl posted last night, which referred to meeting Jade "today" (made me think of during the day), which she may well have not uploaded until she got home from work at night - so Jade could have stopped in at Carnes Hill to buy her perfume from the shop where the girl worked earlier then headed up to the beaches and stayed over.
Who knows?
If that video really was all taken today, and she's gone up north (a long way out of her way if she was in Liverpool yesterday and was going to the Highlands this arvo) to spend the morning with him before he flies out (she might have even taken him to the airport since she was heading south), then I think that's pretty telling.
I don't like making statements here because I don't like people taking what we say and using it on Twitter to make them uncomfortable, but I think most of you will know what I'm getting at anyway...

I agree. And the thing that she´s driving long distances, it´s pretty illuminating.
Yep. I mean I'm sure a large part of it is because she loves the beach but Cronulla or Bondi are closer.
I'm just happy she's collecting a network of friends. So hard to do when you move to a new place.

Going to stick my neck right out there and say am I the only one that's not a fan of her and CH if it does even exist?
From what I see about the only thing they have in common is the beach, the gym and healthy eating. (Hmm a certain someone else was into the same thing). He looks to be another that spends a lot of time with his mates, drinking and going to the gym (I am judging from photos only as the same is done with Ed). One big difference I have seen is that he doesn't appear to be quite the party animal that Ed is, although in saying that maybe he just doesn't publicise it as much.
For me it's a bit hard to comprehend that for someone who was in love with another person for quite some time could just switch it off so quickly or are they really only friends and he's allowing her to use him to make another one see the light...

I tend to think they are friends and I'm a fan of her developing a network with the same values and lifestyle as her - which Ed didn't have. Ed goes to the gym, but - other than when he copied Jade's #healthyliving #healthyeating NY resolution for a week or so - doesn't really following healthy eating or a particularly healthy lifestyle, and doesn't hang out at the beach (other than sunbaking on BB and directly after). He is much more about being seen in the right clothes in the right places with the right people.
I have no idea if Dan would be the ideal partner for Jade, but other than the exercise stuff, I really don't see a lot of similarities between Dan and Ed - and he seems to be very encouraging and supportive, which is a good thing for someone new to a city who is not onlt trying to fit in and find a place for herself but to also try to get a foothold in an unreliable industry
CH, having a Masters in Exercise Science, makes his living in the exercise field. Rather than just going to the gym he trains the Seaeagles , runs boot camps and works as a PT - where as Ed works out himself as an activity (which he then uses as a pass to indulge). Along with his healthy cooking, the exercise is a way of life - and that gels with Jade's view of eating and living and her strong belief in working out. He's also involved actively with charities and nature as Jade is.
Dan was on Masterchef with a friend of Jade's from the North Coast, and I think she may have been the link that brought them to meet, so I think she would have seen them as being similar people. I'm not sure how much he drinks, as the only pic i've seen where he has a drink in his hand was the night they met and I don't know what was in his glass - but those who watched him on Masterchef may have more info on that.

I agree with everything [MENTION=32134]smurfette[/MENTION] said. But I just wanted to address this as well. The show finished on the 6th of November, that is almost 3 months ago, and they were only in the house 3 months. And to be perfectly honest, I don't think Ed was being "himself", especially after Matt left - I think he was just trying to be a guy who appealed to Jade in order to keep her and her friends on side (creating an "alliance"). There is clear mismatch between Ed in the house vs. Ed on the outside - I think that probably became very obvious to Jade very quickly that the Ed she saw in the house was different from the Ed on the outside. Their lifestyles do not match at all.
And to be honest, CH has made more effort with Jade in a few weeks than Ed made in 6 months. Even if they are just friends, I'd rather her be friends with someone who respects her as opposed to someone like Ed, who thinks it is acceptable to let some random girl let the world know their relationship is over, and in the same paragraph, ask if she can hook up with him, which he responds to positively. In fact, no ONE deserves that.

I do think, on the surface, Dan and Ed are similar, but I that is almost to be expected, since Jade probably has a "type". However, when I look at CH, I see the guy that Ed wants to be (and in many ways presented himself to be in the house). Dan has already found his passion and is, at least on the surface, making a living doing what he loves. Going by pictures, he spends a great deal of his time on promotions and events geared towards building his career. He does spend time with his mates, many of them men, but it's not exclusively a "male" thing. Many of his friends appear to be in relationships and at many of his non-rugby activities, you see a group of mixed sexes. Most importantly, I think his philosophy of living a life of balance, with no guilt and no judgement, really reflects well on him. He seems incredibly comfortable with who he is and what's important to him, and I'm pretty sure that what you see is what you get. Centered people make excellent friends and Jade could use all the good friends she can get since her life is in such upheaval.
As for the possibility of Jade using CH to bring someone else in line, while that may have been a possibility while there was still a potential relationship in Melbourne, I just don't think that's where it's at now. I think Dan and Jade have become good friends and, who knows, maybe something romantic will develop. It's been a month, though, since that other non-relationship ended and, while Jade may have thought she was in love, I think reality and distance has made it easier for her to "switch it off" than would have happened under different circumstances.

I watched CH's season on Masterchef, I remember him as being caring, respectful and a fun type of guy. I don't think he would be a big drinker (just at a guess) because of his lifestlyle and work.
Good on Jade for putting herself out there again, making new friends. CH seems to know what he wants in his life and is not scared to go after it.

Exactly! For me he was the cute guy ( and not only because of the physical appearance) he was really friendly with all his mates on the show ( including the old ones) Ed is afraid of any kind of emotion LOL aahah and Daniel was so cuddly and lovely. I found him very sensitive on the show so in my opinion they´re totally opposite.

Point taken, I still stand by my thoughts. I do agree that a lot of Ed we saw in the house is not who he seems to be in the real world, but we don't know him so can only make judgements on what we see. We would probably be astounded at seeing him in a professional capacity. I guess we can all be different when the occasion calls for it.
While Jade is a beautiful girl she also needs to understand that she does not need a male in her life constantly to make her happy and needs to develop a bit more self esteem and confidence.

Since this discussion is all hypothetical based i will put this out there. I really do not see australia being the chef fellas future. I would really bet on it being us or uk .
I don't think Jade's future is Australia either - Italy/Europe, UK and at a smidgen, US, are where she will shine.
I'm not sure she thinks that she needs a man in her life constantly. I am not so fortunate myself, but I have had many friends who always meet a great guy pretty soon after their previous relationship ending. In fact, one my friends was starting dating her ex's best friend less than a week later and they have been together 10 years and are still friends with the ex - he was best man and she was a bridesmaid at the ex's wedding.
I don't think she is "needing" a male in her life - I think she has just met someone who shares common interests with and formed a friendship. For all we know, CH could be dating one of her friends. Or a complete random like Sonia Kruger. There is no evidence they are a couple. I think we just like that he treats her with respect and is kind to her. #stillabettercatchthanEd

I don't question that Jade's feelings of love towards Ed in the house were genuine at the time, but it also does not surprise me in the slightest that those feelings might not be sustainable away from that environment.
It really wouldn't surprise me if as she discovered more and more about Ed and his lifestyle on the outside the feelings just didn't stand up anymore because he, and also their dynamic was different than it was in the house. There's also the fact that she's had access to her real friends and family again who I'm sure had some things to say, and she might have had a chance to see/hear a bit of went on behind her back. My mind goes back to how she started questioning Ed even after just finding out he'd nominated her. Imagine how much the cogs would be turning if she started to discover the other stuff.
I'm sure whenever Jade looks back on the experience she'll remember her time with Ed fondly. I'd say that no matter how much her opinion of him might of changed since coming out she'll still always have a soft spot for him given she'll always associate him with what will no doubt be remembered as one of the best experiences of her life. However, it would not shock me in the slightest if the feelings that she developed for him in that environment just didn't stand up in the real world. It happens all the time. There's a reason these showmances never last long-term on the outside. I'd equate it to falling in love on school camp as a kid. It's fun and magical at the time but it's just not that same when you have to go back to school.
Edit - Oh and I also don't think she's using Dan at all to try and make Ed see the light. If that were the case I think her deliberate attempts to hide him from every update would be very counterproductive
Hahaha yeah, I'd removed it (thought it was time for a change lol) and was in the process of looking for a new one when I suddenly realised I was already supposed to be somewhere that is 20 minutes away lol.

I totally agree with you and [MENTION=32134]smurfette[/MENTION], in particular about Ed. I don't really know much about Dan but he seems to show a lot more care for Jade than Ed ever did.
