Well, I accidentally clicked on the hashtag, and it seems Ed, Nick and blonde dude whose name I don't remember, and I am glad I don't, are the only ones using it. The concept sounds good, it would probably work if someone like Drew or Tim were flogging it.
And... The Flying Nun is 'busting to go to the loo'... Gosh, hope there are no vege gardens around.

Can you blame Ed after all the crap Drew said constantly about him behind his back? For all of Ed's faults he did not indulge in repeatedly mocking/bitching about housemates like Drew did on an on-going basis. Not that there weren't some housemates that deserved it, namely Jade. Oh how I laughed every time he ripped into her mercilessly, it had me in stitches time and time again.
I liked Drew, especially near the end, but part of his hatred of Ed was purely based on jealousy that the number one target of his affection did not reciprocate and instead chose Ed over him. This animosity they have between them is all on Drew.

Swap cowboys and indians with bushrangers and 'abos'. Ignorance is no excuse for perpetuating something that clearly has a racist foundation and connotations. We all know that cowboys are supposed to be the 'good' guys and the 'indians' the baddies.
Hmmm... my feelings on the subject are quite the opposite. Replace the mascot of that team with the N-word, F-word(gay slur) and I don't think it would be dismissed out of hand that easily. My take on it the 'political correctness' (don't mean to be derogatory but for want of a better term) approach to a valid complaint such as this one is that action largely depends on the power of the minority/ethnicity in question. And it seems that blacks (probably due to the guilt of slavery and their larger numbers) and gays (roughly between 5 to 10 percent of the population and found among all ethnicities) have significantly more influence and power than Native Americans and why it appears that their concerns don't register that highly among the general public (read: white majority) in the States.
And in regards to calling USA citizens Americans, I personally hesitate to do so for the same reasons I don't think it's a good idea to start referring to French citizens as Europeans when that is an adjective used to describe people that live in a particular continent not a nationality. As far as I know the vast majority of the people that live in the so-called 'Americas' that is most people in Latin America consider America to be an entire continent made up of a South and North part not distinct continents and by default also consider themselves to be 'American'.
I'm aware that the economical, military and cultural might of the good ol' US of A has led to the rest of the world referring to them specifically as 'Americans' but I don't share the belief that that alone makes it right.
I respect your opinion...curious, what do you call citizens of US? citizens of Mexico? Citizens of El Salvador? Citizens of Canada?
I'm hoping that you are just being tongue and cheek about the good guys and baddies...I'm a Cherokee...as i am sure you know bc you have read the posts and understand where this started.

Mexican, Salvadoreans, Canadians, Argentines, etc...
What do you mean 'tongue-in-cheek'? Ever since I was a boy there has never been any doubt that the Cowboys are supposed to be heroes in that dichotomy.
