i think that is what he is saying....there is a stereotype in movies etc that cowboy = good and indian = bad. I don't think connesseur is agreeing with that but opposing that stereotype.

They're called polo sticks (or mallets if you're in the USA), they're shaped a bit like a croquet stick and you hit the ball with the long flat side, rather than the small ends. But yes, I was hoping for a photo or two of the game, or at least the ponies. I love the polo and wish I could have gone this year. Oh well, maybe I'll try and get some of us to play it tomorrow if we can get the area to ourselves.
