I don't love the naughty or nice element and nothing will convince me otherwise, but the bottom line is that it's great to see Tim making it possible and the others getting in the spirit. Matt's really got to me in particular. Obviously he and Tully had their issues and strain in the house, but showing that kind of support is what this time of year is all about. Good on all of them.

Yay Ed!!! He was the one I was worried wouldn't join in but he did. Glad to see he can put things aside and focus on Charity.

this is great, they are all a good bunch of people at heart, nice to see them taking it in the spirit it was intended.

The connection between Tim and the many housemates since leaving the house is obviously strained compared to other housemates that have remained very close friends. Photos don't lie. Yes, Tim is still friends with the people he was friends with in the house, but I don't believe it is as close as what it used to be. I think they now see him for the person he is.

tim is a busy man who seems to bounce to the beat of his own drum.....could be worse, could be jazz who doesn't seem to have her own friends but attaches herself to the housemates friends (even drews, and he couldn't stand her). Matt does his own thing but he is loved by all. They all loved Ben but apart from Tim he hasn't been mixing amongst the others that much....and jade, the occasional ed/sugar sisters catch up but otherwise not much. tim has regular hook ups with drew and sometimes tully, ed hooks up with nick and sometimes jade, jazz hooks up with other peoples friends, boog is sticking mainly to her pre-bb crew....

tim is no different, the person he is is generous that's for sure, but they have all gone on to do their own things, even the couples.

Then why doesn't Tim just donate the money, why advertise it, he has absolutely NO humility..... I don't think he is doing this as an act of kindness, IMO he is acting like a jerk..... Just my opinion :)
 
I feel like beating my head against a brick wall. The things you people can come up with to make a wonderful thing sound like a pile of shit, amazes me. Tim just gave away a lot of money and a lot of charities will benefit, you people are sitting at a computer hurling insults at someone you don't even know. I know who the jerks are. Sure isn't Tim. #jealousmuch

ten thousand dollars is an act of kindness, no matter how he goes about it. He offered it to all, even those that don't like him, of course he wants them to stand up and do the right thing and not accept it as a gift for themselves. Even Ed took it in great spirit and he was Tims nemesis....You know even charities advertise, what better advertisement than a donation from those current in the public eye.

He didn't say "i am donating 10 grand to charity because i'm awesome"...he could have but he didn't...he gave everyone in the house the chance to be part of it and if they don't get into the spirit of it and decide they are worthy of $500 of tims money, then that's their choice.

most people have stated this (the game) as to what they object to (not giving to charity)

but why should he do anything other than what he wants...it's his money...he doesn't have to do anything.

maybe he should just keep the lot since giving to charity is quite clearly not about those in need and all about how you go about it. He should have spent that money on a sloth after all.
