I probably would have gone nuts without this distraction.

I feel honored that so many of you requested my opinion on the latest events. I have to admit, I was much more comfortable volunteering my point of view back when we got to observe Jade for extended periods of time. Right now, the small glimpses and clues we are getting are so limited that ANYTHING could be happening, as we discovered when we were shocked nearly into silence by the Ballina/Noosa road trip. (Okay, maybe that was just me, but still.). But I am confident that if we stray too far off of reality, Jewel will soon pop up to set the record straight, as needed.

Something felt off about the end of the Melbourne trip, and I can't put my finger on what it is. Maybe it was just the sudden sightings in Sydney that left me feeling that it was abruptly (unexpectedly?) ended. But that could easily be my imagination, as this could have been the plan all along. And I'll admit that when I saw Fabio's tweet, my first thought was "Ed was a complete asshole and she fled for home." (sorry, [MENTION=35590]Pookie[/MENTION], I promise I've been trying to be more open minded about him, but sometimes I still make snap judgements ). I started rethinking my conclusion because of Jade's adorable post with Rufus. She said her day didn't go to plan, which makes me think she had to be in Sydney for a particular event, maybe a meeting or a potential job, and it didn't go as she hoped. A trip to the gym and a big cuddly dog just doesn't seem the cure for a major heartbreak, it's more of a pick me up after a disappointment that is painful but not emotionally crippling. Then when I look at Fabio's tweet with new light, I see him mention the things she has...time, love, and honesty. Granted that the wording could just be off because of the English issue, but it jumps out at me that you don't tell someone who's struggling with heartbreak that they have love (and really not time and honesty). Instead you usually remind the person of the family and friends that surround and support them through emotional times. This tweet seems to be encouraging patience and remaining true to herself, which makes me feel that it's regarding her professional life rather than a personal one.
All I do know is that whatever disappointment Jade struggled (struggles?) with, she still managed to put it aside and focus on her charitable endeavor. It says so much about who she is that, even in the midst of her own junk, whatever that is, she's still trying to do for others. She really is such an amazing woman!

I hope your friend is recovery well from her recent surgery.

I think the reason it seemed cut short to me is because she had said she would collect her mail 'in a week's time' - which put an expectation in my mind that she would be in Sydney about yesterday or today. But she could well have just been approximating. It is also possible, as Jane Doe suggested, that she may have come back for an opportunity that fell through - perhaps she came back earlier than originally expected for that and then it was cancelled/fell through

I was thinking this too. It could be a last minute change of her plan.

Tahan just posted a photo of a cossie from Jaymes swimwear along with their catalogue. Isn't that the company that Jade did some modelling for recently? Tahan might get a shock when she looks through the catalogue-Jade continues to haunt her.
